Liked: very friendly and helpful staff,in front of trainstation,extra cheap area for eating and drinking. I enjoyed the television with a lot of channels and most movies in original voice and portugese subtitles, so I didn't mind the rainy periods during my stay.

Disliked: the room at the frontside was noisy, but after complaining about this I got inmediately another very quiet room at the backside

Liked: We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were lovely & very helpful. Our room was very clean. Unfortunately we were pretty much the only people staying there at the time so we didn't get to meet anyone - but it was a great place. Very close to the train & metro station too!

Liked: The location in front of Campanhã Station.

Disliked: Poor breakfast, it should be included. The first time I've seen the ad breakfast was 2.65 euros, but by the time I've booked it was increased to 3 euros. I was expecting a better breakfast for 3 euros.

Liked: This is a beautiful grand old property, that is sadly becoming a wee bit tired, grubby decor, broken switches/fittings. That said the staff are marvellous and the location is great. It is reasonable value for money. Put it this way, I would go back there if I was going to Oporto again.

Liked: Perfect overnight location, just 1 minute walk from Metro station to airport. Very friendly elderly lady, perfect english spoken. Other than that: "You get what you pay for". Dirt cheap rates. So don't expect The Ritz.

Liked: good room with a shower and a sink inside. the owners are really friendly and helpful. it's very close to metro and the train station. there are some good restaurants nearby (the one next door is cheap and good, though the waiter speaks no english).

Liked: Pros:- big thanks to very very nice senhor with "silver hair" ;-) for all help he gave me!! (unfortunately i don't know his name); he speaks english as well- good location, for me it was crucial as I was travelling by train, and the train station (Campanha) was just on the second side of the street- SILENCE!- shower in the spacious room- many cheap restaurants just downstairs + very cheap bakery with regional delicious baked sweets (very cheap!!!)- 2 PCs with cheap internet accessCons: NONE! Some people might not like old-fashioned style of the rooms but for me was ok.

Liked: Very clean, close to metro station..easy parking access and 5 euro cab ride to the centro. friendly staff, although we thought it was pretty easy to walk in...no one really at the front desk. Very clean...spotless actually.
