Liked: Flexible, courteous staff. Great breakfast. Bathrooms were clean. Plenty of places to hangout.

Liked: Really nice hostel, super clean and well kept. The lady that runs the place, didn't catch her name, is awesome! She gives you the best direction of the city and sits you down with a map and points out everything. She was very friendly and made sure my stay was pleasant. Free wifi & breakfast, kitchen, a couple common areas and just a short walk to all the sights. Hop on a bus and you're at the beach in just a few minutes. I would stay here again if I'm ever back in Porto. Thanks for the great stay!

Liked: The friendliness of the staff was one of the things that I enjoyed most. And then it's quietness.

Disliked: It is a little bit far away from the main interest area of Porto, so a lot of going up hill in order to go back to the hostel :)

Liked: The facilities were good. Breakfast was included and there was a fantastic lounge out the back with plenty of space, TV and even a karaoke machine. The female proprietor (sorry I forgot your name) was a fantastic host, very friendly and even made sangria for everyone for St Johns day celebrations.

Disliked: To be honest our room was downstairs and directly underneath the stairs near the front door...which meant we were kept awake by loud footsteps most nights. The beds sagged in the middle and were on the side of uncomfortable. Although the female propriator was brilliant the young guys working there were pretty poor. They twice came in to our room early in the morning while we were asleep to show new boarders which would be their room. There was no knock or attempt to keep voices down.

Liked: Everyone was very friendly, it was clean and big! Wifi reached the bedrooms. Breakfast was great.

Liked: Staff was really really kind and helpful, the hostel is clean and has a nice atmosphere.

Disliked: Was loud at night as the windows of my room opened to the corridor.

Liked: full kitchen, very clean and spacious, close to metro line, free internet access, personal lockers, check-in desk open 24/7.

Disliked: initially wasn't sure how to reach hostel as described in the location summary, no buzzer to open front door so had to wait until entrance was physically unlocked.

Disliked: Extremely noisey room...in bottom floor...very little light. no effort to organise any activities to let people meet each other. Breakfast could not have been more basic.

Liked: The staff was amazing!! especially Luzia, she is very dedicated to her job, friendly and helpful. Everything is super clean, the back room downstairs is spacious and cozy, nice space to socialize with others and discuss your next trip. Like also the creative stairs blocks, good idea for steep stairs....... I definitely recommend this hostel

Liked: good location, close to the Metro, nice breakfast.

Disliked: I booked the 6 bedded Earth room and was placed in the 8 bed Jupiter room. That is the worst room in the hostel as it is next to the entrance where people ring the bell all through the night. Very noisy.

Liked: Conveniently located at a Metro station and a short walk away from the bar district, shops and restaurants. Staff walks the extra mile to show you the secrets of the city. Very tidy kitchen, fun to cook there.

Liked: It is one of the most clean hostels I've ever stayed in, plus the staff are always available to help with information about transport and places of interest in Porto. Really near Lapa metro station, which makes access to airport and city centre very easy. Lovely bfast... plus the bedrooms are really beautifully decorated... If i go to Porto again, there's no other place I'd like to stay in!

Disliked: The only thing was that the guests are not given the key to the front door so you have to ring the bell... however this was never a problem since the reception was open 24/7. It was also a bit noisy at night, but only on Saturday.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast included in the price and a cosy atmosphere because it wasn't very very big. Good location.
