Liked: Wi-Fi and Internet in lobby, large kitchens and bathrooms on each floor, spotless showers, perfect location, beer and water sold in vending machine

Disliked: Hair found in sheets, duvet, and on pillowcase. Linens appeared freshly washed but hair remained from other guests. Maids need to take better care of bedding to ensure clean linens for all new guests. Also lock on lockers not very safe - my key broke and could be easily opened with another key. Does not allow for your own lock & key or combination lock.

Liked: it's right in the center of Porto Each day there was a special offer from the hostel staff (pizza night, Wii games, port wine etc)

Disliked: doors were smashed continiously biased information about tours

Liked: Rooftop terrace is gorgeous, it was a fantastic place to laze around in the sun to fill in a few hours while waiting to go back to the airport. Downstairs the loungeroom is very modern, clean and comfortable. Also we stayed in a twin private room, we were surprised that they came in and made our beds!

Disliked: There's no signs on the property so we walked past 3 times, up and down huge hills, before realising it was the place with the red door. It doesn't help that the street changes names halfway up, so we ended up at 83 on top of the hill near Cafe Majestic, which was the wrong st.

Liked: The staff really went out of its way to make everyone feel welcome and make sure it was a fun place to interact with other guests. The decor was really cool and the main room really felt like you were hanging out in someones living room. I wish i was there when it was even nicer out, i bet the terrace is AMAZING in the summer time. make sure to hang out with miguel, he's a sweetheart!

Disliked: there's no age restriction which isn't a big deal but it changes the "young backpacker" atmosphere a little bit when someone twice your age is in your room. but would never discourage me from staying there!

Liked: Everything ! All staff more than happy to give personal attention and advice. My stay was met by poor spring weather so it was great to have a very large lounge, with cool music, internet, library, computer games (Wii was used a lot while I was there). As a smaller hostel it afforded the opportunity for solo travellers like myself to meet others, especially as breakfast was so homely. Even location was well-placed. Very hard to beat. And it made want to go back again when weather is better.

Disliked: Hard to fault this hostel, so I feel a bit picky here. Constructive criticism - perhaps some shelving in the dorm lockers, and a chair in the dorms (to tie shoes).

Liked: Rivoli is one of the coolest hostels I have ever stayed at! I was only in Porto for one night, so I didn't take advantage of the terrace, but it looks wonderful. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and they have a small get together in the common room every night for guests who want to meet other people. Most importantly, it's in a great location! I highly recommend this hostel.

Disliked: I really have no complaints.
