Liked: The sheets were crisp & clean, but the furniture had previous guests' food crumbs still on it, and the bathroom was growing mould. The location is great in terms of access to unique & interesting restaurants and bars.

Disliked: If you like to sleep, don't stay here! The hotel is on top of a fantastic but noisy bar, which has music playing loudly from 10pm until 1am on weeknights. Then from 8am, the staff were continually entering & exiting a linen closet next to our room, banging the door loudly each time.

Liked: The room was great value for money and ensuite with a large double bed, cupboard, desk, television and internet wireless on the laptop. The breakfast room was literally right next to my hotel room, which was really useful after waking up in the mornings. The toilet had a power shower with three different types of towels and shampoo. The hotel was in a quiet corner right in the center of the city and the bus going directly from the airport to the last stop, stopped literally right around the corner and one minute from the hotel.

Disliked: It's not so much that I disliked it but it was surprising to see that in the mornings, the street was really quiet and half empty. However, the surprising thing was at night, the small nightclub a few doors down from the hotel attracted so many people that on some nights, the whole street was full that the car took ages to get through to the other side of the road. I should add that there wasn't much noise and I slept beautifully every night.

Liked: Location is very close to the main square and some nice bars.

Disliked: The beds are too small (5'10"); the rooms are tiny (you can't open the door of the twin room without hitting one of the beds); the bathrooms are shared but clean; the breakfast is pretty lacklustre (especially if you're a lover of good bread); there is no lobby. But we did enjoy our stay - this place is great if you want to hang out at the bars downstairs until 3 am and then crash.

Liked: It's location and nothing else

Disliked: Attention! If you are planning on staying here on a Friday or Saturday night, think it over again! There is a huge bar on the ground floor and right next to the hotel. They play extremely loud music until 4am and the crows spill onto the street, screaming until sunrise. The rooms are very small but relatively clean and the breakfast is ok... But, the nightly noise is comaprable to being in an AC/Dc concert, trust me in tthis

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful with all the details we wanted about the city. They were confidently speaking English encouraging us to see all the best in Porto. The continental breakfast is yummy and filling.

Disliked: There was mould in the showers and their doors were half-dismounted. The water stayed on the floor for hours after each shower. The hanger was broken in one of the bathrooms. The staff cleans it every day, but it doesn't help the overall impression.

Liked: Very good localitation, clean and some services like a good hotel. Only one bad thing. Porto was very hot in this days and the room have a bad climatitation sistem. The tv didnt work. Anyway the stay was quite nice.

Liked: Rooms basic, but good for the price. Rooms cleaned and towels changed each day. Breakfast quite basic, but filling enough to get you started. Near to the metro, with cafes and supermarkets on the doorstep.

Liked: free internet, right next door to a relaxed bar/eatery during the day and loud fun party bar at night time- not always good if you are trying to sleep however!, lovely friendly staff, free continental breakfast
