Liked: The colour of the bedroom. TV. The rear garden view. The location near a little traditional Portuguese Tasca, where our waiter, Sergio, was very helpful and didn't speak English - which was fabulous!!

Disliked: Lack of window/door to bathroom. Lack of water pressure/heat in shower. Curfew. Witholding keys. Flickering lights/ electrics not working. Broken bed.

Liked: The room had enough space for 2 people and was oriented to the garden - really quiet in the night.

Disliked: It's definitely not clean with excellent facilities. The bathroom was dirty with really poor functioning bath and toilet. Hot shower was not available for 24 hours - after 10 minutes of showering hot water was gone. Towels smelled bad. The woman that runs the hostel checked our room every time we left - that is not polite nor familiar service! The stuff is not multilingual - they speak English really poor. River and city center is definitely not "a step away" - it's at least 3 metro stations from the center. The television was in the room, but was accessible just after entering some code (which we did not ask). Internet (wifi nor desktop computer) is not available for clients. Atmosphere is really bad there - weird smell in the whole house, the manager woman checking our room all the time. We can really not recommend this to anybody.
