Baía de Peniche Surf & Bodyboard Camp/ School

Our surfcamp is located in Casais do Baleal, Peniche, Portugal, a small village where surf culture is part of the locals life. Close to the beaches, Baleal island and Ferrel, you’ll find everything you need.

BAÍA DE PENICHE
Baía de Peniche Surf Camp is the place if you’re looking for good beaches and waves, amusement and a relaxing time!
In the surf house you can find different kinds of accommodation depending on your needs, you can choose between the fully equipped apartment, the DBL room or the bunker rooms! All the rooms have access to the equipped kitchen for self catering, to the lounge area equipped with TV and DVD and to the outside area with barbecue facilities.
There are Barbecue Dinners and cocktail afternoons!
This is the right kind of accommodation to hang out with new people and to get enriching cultural exchanges.

SURF & BODYBOARD
Well located on the bay of Peniche, Baía de Peniche Bodyboard/Surf School combines all the conditions to the initiation and training of both surfing and body boarding. For that we have at your disposal a team of professional’s acreditated by the Portuguese Surf Association and a variety of programs for your needs.

There are packages for beginners, intermediates and advanced students. We also have competition training and surf guides that will take you to the best spots in the Peniche area.

Everything you need you’ll find here. We have equipment for your lessons, transportation and great packages of lessons and lodging. We arrange everything for you to spend some great days surfing and evolved in the purest surf environment. Come on, you will find it a blast!

Accommodation Information

At your disposal there are two kinds of accommodation. If you are travelling alone or with a small group of friends you can stay in our SURF HOUSE. There are six rooms with six beds each which are shared by the guests, with free access to the full equipped kitchen and to the bathroom. If you have an organized group we can also prepare a room only for the group (*).

In case you’re travelling with a group of friends, your girlfriend or your family you can find a more private lodging in one of our three apartments. There are apartments for two, four and six people, all equipped with kitchen, bathroom, living room with TV and DVD and internet connection.
Accommodation includes, besides the access to all areas of the camp, sheets, pillows and blankets. We recommend you bring your own towels.
(*) If you travel with a group of friends ask us for a group price (minimum 4 people). For groups of more than 8 people we can make a special price.

FACILITIES
Baía de Peniche Surfschool and SurfCamp has a lounge area, outside area, barbecue facilities, free internet access, reception, laundry facilities, wash and dry area for wetsuits, bike rental, outside showers, board racks and a small shop. Beside these services we can also provide other outsourcing services such as: Adventure sports, Carting, canoeing, motto 4, paintball, boat trips, among others.

Baía de Peniche Bodyboard/SurfCamp is located in Baleal, 5 minutes walk from Baleal Beach, 80 Km North from the International Lisbon Airport with a variety of beaches to surf for all levels, just 5 Km from Peniche Town Center and from the famous wave Supertubes considered to be the 3rd best beach break of the world.
Nearby you can find restaurants, supermarkets, bars and several surf spots in Baleal and Peniche area within walking distance.
