Liked: Good hostel, nice common area with living room and kitchen.

Disliked: Staff is not relaxed enough and every morning we had to listen to something we did wrong previous evening.

Liked: very nice location close to many surfspots. plenty of bars restaurants and supermarkets in a very short distance. staff where very helpfull and all that really makes you feel at home.

Liked: The staff were fantastic and really made you feel at home. They were laid back but very professional at the same time.

Disliked: The owners seriously need to take the security situation more seriously. When we were there someone climbed in over the roof and stole surfboards for the 2nd time in a week. Even worse was the fact that one of the burglars actually walked around the hostel and into a room where someone was asleep and stole a phone and keys to the building from right next to him. This made all the guests feel uneasy. The management did change one lock, but the main thing that I thought was not good was that the rooms can be accessed by anyone and all your things are on show to anyone staying there. They need to invest in keycard locks for each room like every other hostel in the area.I ended up keeping my personal things on me at all times as i didnt trust my things even in the lockers to be safe. I want to go back next year and stay there but I will only do this if the security situation improves.

Liked: We liked location. It is near the centre of city. This hostel is like one giant apartment, with huge kitchen and big living room.

Disliked: We didn't like one of the receptionist because it was clearly annoyed because we were cooking in the kitchen. We didn't do anything wrong, so i hope receptionst just had a bad day.

Liked: Good place, nice people.

Disliked: Twin room was without beathroom. Staff asked us to take out the sheets by ourselves before we leave. That was not very nice, because it's there job.

Liked: This is by far one of the best, friendliest, and kindest hostels I have stayed at. All the staff is SO friendly, always willing to answer questions and help out when needed. The hostel is always SUPER clean, and the staff is always super attentive! This hostel feels more like a home because of its´ warm atmosphere. It is located near really good restaurants, bars and a couple of really cute shops. WE LOVED it so much that we came back to Peniche a second time and stayed here again.

Liked: We had a really lovely stay at the PenicheHostel, everything was well taken care of, it was clean, good breakfast, nice showers and the staff was really nice! They would arrange everything for you, like surflessons, surfgear, biketours, etc. I would recommed this place to everybody! Thanks guys for the nice week!

Liked: The owners are friendly and we met a lot of people. We weren't there to surf, but had a wonderful day exploring the landscape. You can rent a bike nearby and make a trip near the sea.

Disliked: The room was big enough, but we didn't have a window. At night there was a lot of noise, we didn't sleep a lot.

Liked: One of the nicest, cosiest and friendliest hostels I have stayed at! Warm welcome and friendly atmosphere by extremely helpful staff, feels more like your own living room than a hostel. A+

Liked: Awesome hostel, really nice staff! only downer is that theres only 2 single bathrooms, and the toilets are in them. So if 2 people are in the shower, you cant go to the toilet.
