Silver Coast bed & breakfast accommodation in Portugal! Chas and Cathy welcome you to stay at our modern family home in the quiet village of Pero Moniz, on Portugal's Silver Coast.

We feel that we can offer you everything you are looking for when searching for a relaxing holiday. With views overlooking the mountain range of Serra Montejunto, numerous vineyards and orchards growing grapes, pears and many other fruits surrounding the village, the area is simply idyllic.

Only 40 minutes from the capital city of Lisbon and its International airport. An abundant number of beaches with silver sands are less than thirty minutes drive away. The Medieval town of Obidos is just 20 minutes away. The golf courses of Golden Eagle, Praia Del Rei, Bom Sucessso and Campo Real are all reached within 30 minutes by car.

The villa boasts a very peaceful aspect overlooking open countryside and views of Montejunto. At the rear of the property there is a 8m x 4m saltwater swimming pool which keeps a very usable temperature throughout the summer months. Around the pool there is a large patio area with sun loungers. Poolside towels are provided. As a safety feature, the pool area and garden are totally fenced and can be locked.

Behind the pool area is an orchard, and beyond there is a pergola with chairs and also a fish pond. There is also a bar with another patio area outside. Respite from the sun is provided by cool verandas with tables and chairs and a shady terrace with seating.

Accommodation Information

We can offer either twin or double rooms with tea/coffee making facilities and heating in the winter. We are a non-smoking residence, but there is outside places under cover where you can smoke.

Bathrobes, hairdryers and beach towels are available for guest use.

Unfortunately, The Two Leo's Guest House is not suitable for wheelchair users as all bedrooms are accessed via a short staircase.

There is plenty of covered area for golf clubs or for drying swimwear.

Location Information

Just beyond Obidos is the spa city of Caldas Da Rainha where it has the famous Queen's mineral hospital. It also has a good shopping centre and market. There is also a bullring which puts on shows throughout the year.

Local people are incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly if you can learn to use a few Portuguese words.

The climate is warm and sunny from late March to early November (temperatures peak around 37°C in August), with enough rain in the winter to keep the vegetation green throughout the year.
