The 'Savoy Gardens Hotel' is in Funchal, just over a mile from the centre, a unique area with a natural amphitheatre beginning at the harbor and rising almost 1200 meters high on gentle slopes around it. The Lido is lined with palm trees and splendid botanical gardens, and joins with the pebbled Praia Formosa beach at the western end of Funchal.

This hotel will appeal to families and couples, for the quieter location just out of the centre but with good on site facilities and transport links.

The hotel is at the top of a hill, with wonderful views over Funchal town, the mountains and the sea and just a 5 minute bus ride from the centre. The area is also popular with golfers and water-sport enthusiasts. Guests can use the facilities at the nearby Classic Savoy Hotel.
