The world-renowned Hotel Savoy has been welcoming European gentry to Madeira’s fair shores since the early 1900’s – Today’s “classic” Savoy, a member of the prestigious Summit Hotels & Resorts offers its guests privacy and friendly sophistication throughout the resort.

The Classic Savoy has 337 elegantly decorated rooms including 12 suites - all with own furnished private balcony, magnificent sea view, mountain and/or bay views. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mini-bar, Internet connection, Cable TV, room safe and full bathroom with bathrobe and hairdryer.

All 12 suites have sea views, bedroom, separate lounges, 1 or two bathrooms and 3 or 4 balconies.

The Savoy offers 337 attractively refurbished bedrooms (including 12 superior suites), all with balcony, double glazed French windows, air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, cable TV, safe and minibar.

It also has a fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer and bathrobe. Offering great panoramic views of Funchal by night, the "Fleur de Lys" grill room is a fine dining restaurant for the gourmets. The "Cupula" offers a variety of international cuisine and exciting themes and the "Library Garden" offers light meals, drinks and snacks. Live entertainment is available in the Cupula and Alameda cocktail bar.
