Liked: It was lovely and quiet. My room had a balcony and I had a view of the sea in the distance. It has free internet which is a bonus in my view. More time should be spent cleaning the bathrooms properly. When I arrived the bathroom was clean but after that all they did in my room was make the bed.

Liked: It was relatively close to the sea front, bars and restaurants and it was cheap which suited us as we just wanted a room for the night in Funchal before heading to the airport the following day.

Liked: It's cheap, that's its main quality.Also it's clean and the comfort is quite nice for the price paid.It's easy to get to the center of the city with the nearby buses.Didn't try the pool but it seemed fine.The breakfast was a little boring.

Liked: Great, great atmosphere. The owners are very customer oriented. Wireless is an additional plus. Good value for money. We will certainly come back.

Liked: The owner setting up free internet use for guests. Informal atmosphere and helpful staff. The location near the Lido was quiet but with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Excellent transport links made it easy to access the town centre for a livlier scene if wanted. This was about a 20 minute walk. It was really lovely and good value for money.
