 It had literally every perk one would want, the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the facilities were bitchin. It even had a glass elevator

Everything! This is by far the best hostel I have stayed in Europe in the last four months. The hostel itself is in pristine condition. I stayed in the mansion as opposed to the main hostel and it was amazing. The staff were ridiculously friendly and helpful. Every night they cooked dinner for us for 5euro. Each night was better than the last! I would thoroughly recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Lisbon.

HOME COOKED MEALS!!! I've stayed at a lot of hostels around the world and this is aslily the best I've been to. Great friendy atmosphere and staff, good food and drinks! cheers!

i cant say enough good things about this place- you can use the fridge, the kitchen, everybody leaves their stuff in the showers untill checkout, just very laid back and supre friendly, 2 free computers to use, a large common room, table and chairs outside to hang out at as well. we meet alot of fun people here. staff was so helpfull - and if you want to saty in for dinner,someone comes to cook - your plate is only 5 euro. a huge crowd hangs out at the dinning table and talks, so much fun!

One of the cleanest hostels Iºve stayed in but also with a real homey feeling. Everything was new and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

great place to stay. the showers are AMAZING. very laid-back atmosphere -- it truely feels like home. great people seem to congregate there. the home cooked meals are pretty amazing. this is NOT your normal crammed, dirty, un-inspiring hostel.

the staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was great. there was always music playing and cool people to meet in the common room. we really enjoyed ourselves in lisboa thanks to this hostel.

The staff is AWESOME. The airlines had lost my baggage and the hostel staff was so helpful and reassuring even though they had nothing to do with me losing it. There was a kitchen with un mogollon of supplies available to use. Also, there was a Portugese mom who came over to cook dinner and it was only 5EUR for delicious traditional Portugese food. It was the most fun I had during a weekend break.
