Liked: It's nice and clean. Well located. Just at the door of the residential you have the bus 790 that takes you right to the center and the line blu of the underground it's ten minutes walking.

Disliked: The mattress was very very very thin and a uncomfortable but for a short stay you cand handle it. And the breakfast wasn't very good. It's better go to a bar.

Liked: the owner is a kind people.

Disliked: First, it is very far from the center, and difficult to get the public transport. Second, thr room is dark and a little dirty. The window of the room is opened to the passage, so is very dark, but we can not open the room.

Liked: I absolutely love this place – super friendly and helpful staff (thanks Dan, Kassim and Indra!), really well connected and easy to get to (bus route 370 , which runs through the most important parts of Lisbon – from Bairro Alto to Baixa to the castle to Picoas – stops right outside the building), free wifi in all rooms, air con in all rooms, extra bedding and pillows, towels, very clean rooms, breakfast thrown in (no vegan options, but you just need to nip to the grocery store behind the block for some soya butter/milk/cheese which Residencial Jaoax will keep in the fridge for you). Oh, and I left my passport and lap top in the room for hours and hours on end, and it was completely safe – even when the cleaners had been in. But if you’re concerned, the guys at reception are happy to look after important items for you. This is the cheapest place for a single room in all of Lisbon, so I was NOT expecting it to be such a great stay. I passed through on my way to a Yoga retreat in Oleiros, and then stayed for another three days when I returned. Both times, I was really pleased with everything and I am now addicted to the salmon and potatoes at Pepe, the restaurant across the road. I’m coming back to Lisbon in 8 weeks, and I’ve already booked my stay here! I hope that you all have the same kind of experience as mine.

Liked: The hotel is located within a walking distance from the city center (c.a. 15 min), and close to the Metro station (Picoa, 10 min). The room was clean and the staff was very helpfull.

Disliked: The bathroom colud have been a bit larger :)

Liked: Good room with view. Secure (24 hr reception). Good breakfast (included).

Disliked: It had no computers available for us travelling without one. It was an importan walking distance from the metro station. The bathroom had a weird smell (humidity). Impossible to take a shower at 7.30, no water pressure.

Liked: This place is amazingly located in the city, if you need to sight-see just purchase a Lisbon Card and use the BUS790which stops just outside this hotel. Ths staff are very hospitable and always willing to lend a helping hand. Prompt service at an unbeatable price..

Liked: Staff are very kind and helpful. All of them speak more languages (English, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, etc,). Only one negative thing I have to mention is that it is too hot in rooms, no wind but at least there is airconditioning.

Liked: The room was ok, except for the fact that the windows were facing an inner yard that was closed on top, so there was no ventilation and the air was really warm. The breakfast was ok.
