 cheap hostel, clean and friendly staff, in the city center, but the room had no heating and so was pretty cold

Relatively inexpensive. We paid 40 euros per night for 1 double room with private bath. Location was good, right at Lisbon downtown and near metro station. However, the beds were soft and creaky, bathroom smells a little and room is a liitle run down.

The location was convenient to transportation and was within walking distance from many Old Lisbon attractions. The room was large and the ensuite bathroom well kept.
