Liked: The owner Geny was very friendly and helpful, and the location was the best in the city.

Disliked: Faces a loud street, so it can be a bit noisy. But it quiets down after midnight, not a big deal.

Disliked: Almost too basic. One room without a window at all.

Disliked: Very old appartment, very old furnuture, one bathroom on all hostel, which was always busy, staff did not speak english, strong smell of smoke in the room, broken locker on the door and so on and so on....

Liked: Great location, clean facilities, and generally great value for the money. Staff was very helpful and personal.

Disliked: The owner, while very helpful, became very loud each morning around 10am for sustained periods, making it very difficult to sleep in. It seemed as though she was having heated conversations on the phone with people.

Liked: The owner who runs the pension where I stay was totally good person. Event tough she didn't speak any English, She always cared about me so much.

Disliked: NO INTERNET, NO HEAT, ONE BATHROOM, FORCED TO MOVE WITHOUT TELLING BEFORE

Liked: It was clean and basic, and the host was very helpful, but it smelled of smoke and ash trays with cigarettes were left standing in the kitchen and in open bins.

Liked: I loved the balcony view of the pedestrian street below. The location was amazing and the unique building added character to our trip!

Liked: Looking down on one of the main streets in Lisboa from this hostel you really feel a great sense of the city. Very close to bus and train and walking distance to everywhere else!

Liked: Very good location, right in the city centre, close to metro stations. Very dirty though, dark and with bugs. Not really safe, the lock to the hostel was nearly destroyed as if somebody was trying to get into place without a key. The bathroom wasn't nice either. I wouldn't have stayed there but for the good reviews on the net.
