Liked: Poets Hostel is located in a great place of Lisbon, right off the metro. The supermarket is two blocks away, the Alfama district is a 15-minute walk, the Bairro Alto is 2 minutes away. The place definitely has a modern Lisbon vibe to it, and the staff was mostly great. Super secure rooms (your own card key) and huge lockers (don't even need your own lock). Wireless internet was great.

Disliked: The woman who checked me in was a bit rude and she overcharged me. But the next day, Pedro fixed it and it was fine. The breakfast was the same every morning, but it was a good breakfast.

Liked: The staff here is absolutely amazing and so friendly. The first day we got here really early but couldn´t check in until 2:00pm but they stored our luggage and let us use the facilities to clean up and showed us around and recommended all the sights we should take in. The following day I was desperate to watch the Men´s French Open Final so they figured out the TV for me and one of the staff members was making lunch so she cooked us lunch too free of charge. Every day they offer something different and they cook amazing traditional Portuguese meals (3-courses for only 8 Euros) where everyone sits around the table and gets to know each other. The rooms are great you can actually sit up properly if you have a bottom bunkbed and they are so spacious. My one tiny downside is that there were lots of flies coming in with the windows open so screens could be nice on the rooms but I don´t find those common in Europe. It was a bit pricier than the other options but if you want just a relaxing, cute atmosphere with great staff then it´s worth the extra few euros.

Liked: it is really modern and the staff were great. didnt feel like a hostel at tall more like a hotel..the location could not get better and so easy to access via the metro. definately worth the money really peaceful and relaxing.

Liked: I liked the athmosphere of the house, I liked that the living room is free and cosy and its possible to have alonetime and anytime possible to talk to other persons. Very frendly helpful people at the desk...

Liked: The location was great with easy access to everything. Chill-out/dining area is large, so room for everyone. Unfortunately the dorms can get quite hot if the windows aren't kept open & if you keep windows open you get all the noise from revellers going home plus the early morning sounds of the trams & Metro.

Liked: Loved the whole atmosphere of the hostel. It's not too big so it's not too crowded and everything is very neat and clean. Breakfast was substantial and the kitchen area has everything you need. The chill out common room is fantastic and a great way to meet other people staying at the hostel. The location is excellent, smack bang in the middle of everything and right next to the tram 28 line. Not too far from many sights and the Barrio Alto.

Liked: This is the best hostel I have EVER stayed at and I have stayed at a lot!!!!!! The common room is amazing - so chilled out and an awesome place to meet people. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is amazing and the atmosphere is second to none. LOVED IT!!!
