Liked: Felt very homey. Free breakfast, basically a kitchen stocked with food, so you help yourself.

Disliked: A tad far from city center. check in hours! thats the worse... we had to check in at 3pm or after. no earlier, and it sucked for us because we had arrived at 8 in the morning and it was raining. so just plan on arriving later so you do not have to wait around.

Liked: staff are friendly if they are around

Disliked: no 24hour reception, staff are hardly ever at the property, there is no place like reception, other guest had to let me in when I arrived one of the main road is just outside the room so can not leave the window open and quite noisy

Liked: Absolutely terrific hostel! After 4 months of staying in European hostels, I can safely say that Ola is definitely in the best few and was a very pleasant surprise. It is by no means your regular hostel, having a very homely atmosphere with great staff and facilities. All things considered, especially the price, I've no trouble in saying it's too good to be true. Do yourself a favour and look no further!

Liked: We stayed just for one night so everything I can say is: very nice rooms, friendly staff, good internet

Disliked: it's quite difficult to find this hostel There is only small-small pale sticker "OLA" close to the door bell. Staff leave the hostel in evening and come back only in the morning (I don't know when because we left earlier - at 9am) Hostel space is rather small: home atmosphere vs. no private space

Liked: Close to the center! Easy to get to! The inside was really cute. Bright colored walls, cute lounge area, very cozy...

Disliked: The bathrooms were a little grubby but that's expected.

Liked: This property offered a friendly family atmosphere that was always pleasant. I would have stayed longer, but they were all booked on my last night.

Liked: rooms were noisy and cramped and we all got bedbugs!! it was a ok location, nice staff and and easy to get to. good place to meet people as hostel is very small and cosy

Liked: you can cook youself and there´s always free coffee :)(breakfast´s included as well)

Disliked: when we arrived,nobody was there. the guy from the hostel dropped off the key next door, so we could at least get in. overall he wasn´t there a lot to ask stuff etc since the location is on the ground floor and the windows are open a lot of times it´s easy to get in from outside, which doesn´t make it safe at all to leave your stuff in the room

Liked: Real friendliness of stuff and all the other people accomodated in the hostel. There is a specific atmosphere in the hostel thanks to which people gather together in the common room or the kitchen and talk and get to know each other even though they had never known each other before, which is great. Adn after a while you feel like you've known all of them for a really long time. Which makes the stay real pleasant. You get to the breakfast and you talk to the people about your plans for the day, you come back in the evening and you talk to them about your experiances and about everything else. Over a glass of wine or juice. You can even go out together with those who like the Lisbon night life. The hostel is close the metro station so it's very easy to get there from anywhere. There's an Aerobus stop 5 min. walk from the hotel which you can use trying to get to the airport.

Disliked: There's no sign on the door or the building stating that there's the hostel right there!!!!!!!!!! That's very bad! It was annoying cause it took me a while trying to figure out where exactly it is. The rooms are quite small and I got the room with the windows going out to the street so it was really noisy whole night with people passing and cars going back and forth especially between 6 and 8 in the morning.

Liked: nice flat, friendly staff, good kitchen (with electro stove), clean bathrooms.

Disliked: The guy who was responsible for bookings and for letting people in lived there and when he left the house (maybe for some beer or something ;)) there was no one else there to do his job. But he was really nice and spoke english very well.

Liked: nice atmosphere, Tomas and Iverton did everything to keep people happy,nice decoration, agreable balcony, nice homy appartment

Disliked: the girls room was good, the other dorm seemed a little crowded and neither nice nor organized with bags and beds everywhere; breakfast could start earlier, force the guest to clean their dishes ;) more netbooks and a PRINTER as people have to do their bookings

Liked: Absolutely nothing at all - leaving was probably the best thing about the place!!

Disliked: Everything! Bed arrangements were terrible, bathrooms were just as bad - never any toilet paper or hot water, toilet seats missing!!! extremely small kitchen and appliances were shocking, staff were unhelpful and not very good location at all!!!!!

Liked: It has a kitchen that is good for us.

Disliked: Very noisy!!! We stayed in a private room but it has noise from outside. They had opened radio and TV over midnight. We cannot sleep well. Breakfast was too late around 9.30 am.

Liked: One of the cheapest in Lisbon, good value for money, altough I don't know why we pay for the sheets if we stay just one night. Nice terace to chill out. Close to the metro. Internet+computer available, that's useful. The only thing would be that, being on the 1st floor, anyone could have gotten through the window if they wished to, so that the security is not the best. Oh yea, and the reception guy wasn't all the time in the building, and I couldn't find him when I wanted to check out (so be sure to say when you're supposed to arrive!) and leave my bag, so that was a bit annoying. But I would recommend it.

Liked: There was a very well English spoken staff, they are very friendly and helpful. They will help you with any information you need. There is always something going on...you have organized everyday trips to the beaches and Barrio alto. It is such a place where you will most certainly meet very interesting people and you will have lots of fun.

Disliked: They have a really small or should I say tiny sign on the door...so is a bit hard to notice them.
