Liked: De prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding is zeer goed. De kamer was eenvoudig maar schoon, het personeel heel vriendelijk en het hostel is zeer centraal gelegen en op 100 meter van het metrostation. Wel raad ik aan om even het adres in te toetsen op googlemaps, zodat je weet waar ze gelegen zijn, is anders moeilijk om te vinden. Er is namelijk geen bord zichtbaar op straat, alleen bij de deurbel.

Disliked: Geen negatieve ervaring opgedaan!

Liked: Very clean and quiet place with a very good location (about 10-15 min walk to City centre, very close to Metro Station and easy to get to by bus from Airport). Staff was friendly and helpful (although they did not know very much english). Very good value for money.

Disliked: I did not get a room at the adress I booked, but was sent to another room nearby (about 3 min walk from original adress). However this place was just as good as the original place.

Liked: It was like staying in local house, huge shared apartment, very portuguese style, authentic atmosphere The kitchen and TV room are shared, good to meet other travelers or locals. Two bathrooms for 4 rooms, very clean. Stuff very friendly and speak little English so its fun.

Disliked: Ma window couldnt close properly

Disliked: SHE HAD NO RIGHTS TO DO THAT ! The owner called the DAY BEFORE the booking saying something like "we have a problem [...] we don't have a room for you [...] you have another room waiting for you in an other hostel." I went to Tagus Home hostel in case of an extra room available, but the owner was not even there! The other hostel was 3 subway stops further, not in the city center anymore... Even though the other hostel was good, it is not acceptable to accept a booking 3 months in advance and cancel it only 1 day before. Obviously, she did not want me to book in another one! Unbelievable, unforgivable. Do NOT trust the owner

Liked: Well located, close to the city center.

Disliked: The doors are so bent that we can see inside the rooms from the corridor. Not to mention the sound isolation... Toilets inside the bathrooms.

Liked: Clean bathrooms, although 2 of the 4 available were really smaller. Clean though small kitchen.

Disliked: The hostel is in a somewhat old building, with a wooden floor that makes walking noisy. The furniture in the room was kinda dusty too, and the drapes on the window didn't do much against daylight (which can be specially annoying if you wanna wake up late).

Disliked: Although she was very friendly and as helpful as she could be, the host doesn't speak much English. The necessities can be covered, not much else.

Liked: I stayed here for a week, and had a great experience. Rooms are basic, but clean, and the location is wonderful. It's nice having a kitchen and sitting room with television. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful about everything.

Disliked: The kitchen and bathroom were shared between 4 rooms. Some of the other guests were very respectful of the fact that the apartment was shared space. Others...not so much. All of the other rooms were occupied by groups, who could at times be very loud.

Liked: The value for money is excellent, as well as the kitchen and the fridge availability, and the position, in front of the metro. The double room was ok too: simple but clean. But, mind a fact: it's a backpackers hostel! Don't come if you need room service...

Disliked: Mmmm... maybe the 2nd floor without elevator... but it's Lisbon and the hostel is in an old building, so it's normal.

Liked: Good placement, 3Km to city centre but it's a confortable walk. There are many shops, markets and pubs near the hotel. very good. Many bus stop and metro, it's easy to go anywhere. Hotel is clean and confortable, no problem at all.

Disliked: Nothing. It was all ok for me.

Liked: Very clean, rooms are ok, clean spacious bathroom. Has a working but really small kitchen. Cool for couples.

Disliked: Location is kinda bad for tourists because it's actually quite far from sightseeing areas. You basically always need to use the metro because the hostel is on top of a really looong avenue.

Liked: This review is for the new property at Santa Marta Street, which, like the one on display, is a converted old apartment. Clean, spacious colorful rooms, friendly and helpful staff, kitchen with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and electric stove. All it lacks is a washing machine, though there is a place for it on the balcony. The living room is small but nice, with a TV and three seating places, and a dining table which would take too much space in the kitchen. It's nicer in the living room. There's also FREE WI-FI. :) :) :) No computers though, so bring your own. :PThe shared areas of the hostel are properly cleaned everyday. I also liked the cute cats that spend their days on the neighbouring roofs in the back. Very, very cute. :)

Liked: Tagus home was in fact an apartment with 3-4 rooms in wich other ppl stay. You basicly rent a room with 2/3/4/5 beds, and you can use the common facilities: kitchen, bathroom. The double room we had was quite ok, it was a bit old but clean. The kitchen had a microwave and an electric oven, and also dishes. I would recommand the place.

Disliked: Only one bathroom per 4 rooms. If the rooms are full, the queue at the bathroom gets quite big.

Liked: This is a great place to stay if you plan to spend most of your time out and about Lisbon and the surrounding cities, such as Cascais, Sintra, etc., which is what we did. It is not a good place if you are traveling alone, because you will not see other guests and there are no real hang out rooms. My husband and I had a really nice room with an enclosed balcony. The kitchen is small but serviceable, and the fridge is big enough to keep groceries.

Disliked: The hallway was quite dark that led to all the rooms, and it was hot. There was no A/C, and the small fan we were given did not quite get the job done!

Liked: I would not recomend this place to anyone. We came to the hostel on the booked date and the landlady told as that she doesnt have place for us and that she booked for us a new one very close. That close was 10 minutes with metro(and metro station during weekend and nights is not open)so wer had to evrywhere with a cab. Deffinetlz dont go there zou dont know what to expect

Liked: Value for money, if you`re searching for a nice, clean and silent room just to sleep there.. this is perfect if you wanna meet people you should chosse another one, but for a couple it`s great
