Liked: Great great staff, especially Dona Odete who's been a real mother for us, cooking soup, inviting to share cookies at tea time, all the benefits of a garndma and only the benefits (she would even allow us to go out till 10AM the next day :-) Nice and pleasant decoration. Well equiped kitchen. Everything's brand new.

Liked: what you see is what you get. this fun comfortable friendly hostel is like no other hostel we have stayed at before, from the moment we walked through the door we were welcomed with open arms. we felt comfortable safe and cared for it was like being home with your own space. great hostel would suggest it to anyone on there travels.

Liked: This is without a doubt the best hostal I have ever stayed at in all of Europe. The owner goes completely out of her way to make you feel at home and comfortable. My friends and I felt as if we were staying at someone´s home rather than a normal hostal that just processes travellers like a factory and won´t give them the time of day. For example, someone broke into our car (a rental car with the company logo in huge letters on the car which basically screams ´rob me!!´) and robbed our stuff one night in the city and the owner was extremely helpful in offering her help. She even cooked us a delicious fish lunch and served us tea to try to take the edge of the incident off. The hostel itself is in an excellent location and very easy to find. It is also very clean and well maintained with new furniture, beds, bathrooms etc... The kitchen is great with everything you need to cook a great meal and meet other people in the hostal. Along with books, there is even playstation 2 in the t.v. room. Along with lockers for your valuables, free internet and very nice staff they even serve tea daily. A great value for the money, great place to stay, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to meet people and enjoy your time in Lisbon.
