Liked: Hands down the best hostel I have stayed at in my (thus far) month backpacking Europe (of about 10). The decor is awesome, the staff is great, and the dinners (8 euro) are wonderful value for starter, salad, entree, and desert. The rooms are nice and spacious (in my 8 person dorm I felt like I could do cartwheels without smacking anything), and the beds are extremely comfortable... more comfortable than my bed back home, if anything. The computers are all reasonable new and function without issue, and the wifi reaches many of the rooms. Easily better than pretty much any hotel I´ve ever stayed at, barring the absurdly expensive luxury ones. Not the cheapest option around, but if I´m ever back in Lisbon, this is the first place I´m going to check out.

Liked: I had one bad experience with hostels in the past and had vowed never to stay at a hostel again. I came across Living lounge when my friend and I were planning our trip to Lisbon and I told her that although the ratings were high I still did not want to stay here. She convinced me to stay and I was not disappointed. Living Lounge is located in the heart of Lisbon therefore easy access to everything. The staff is very polite and helpful and the hostel is very very very clean. It is also a great place to meet other friendly travellers. I am going to recommend it to everyone who I know. I have a friend visiting Lisbon soon and I will definitely get him and his partner to stay here. I would give it 9 out of 10. Great Place!!!!

Liked: I was staying in lovely Lisbon as a lone female traveller and I am very glad I picked this place - the location is perfect! I felt very safe, didn't have to get taxis everywhere and the staff were all really helpful and friendly. There seemed to be a good mixed crowd, and although the place was busy it wasn't so noisy that you can't get a wink of sleep. That's not to say there is no atmosphere though! I didn't get a chance to eat dinner there but I was hanging around while it was being cooked and it smelt gorgeous and was reccommended by other guests. Breakfast was simple but fine to keep you going. The cleaning ladies are awesome, the design is really cool, the showers were lovely. I didn't get to see all of Lisbon that I wanted to so I hope to return soon, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Liked: everything. The truth is I wasn't able to enjoy all they had to offer (chef dinner, dvds, chill out and meet others there..) but it was quite tempting !I even stayed an extra night (as no room was sent to their "lisbon loung" 3 blocks down - also wonderful: need better pillows in Lisb.loung)

Liked: The cleanest hostel I´ve experienced yet. The beds were comfy and solid with down comforters. There were free lockers large enough for my huge backpack. They offered homecooked dinners for only 8 Euros. Free walking tours of the city! This is my favorite hostel ever!

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff, great dinners and super set up. Only advice: don´t do the free tour of Lisbon, we got a bad tour guide. She didn´t tell us anything about the places we were looking at and took us to an average and expensive place for lunch. The hostel itself was fantastic though. I´d definitely be back and would recommend it to others.

Liked: I like the idea of every rooms have its very own unique design,and they are great! The hostel is so comfortable,classy and most importantly, Clean!! real clean - thanks to the cleaning ladies who scrub every part of the hostel everyday.They even wash the dishes for us as well after having breakfast.Location is great, right outside the metro center in the center of the city.Facilities are all good with free internet,and a big living room,kitchen and areas to hang out..Staffs are awesome..they are a bunch of friends who are really friendly and warm. I got to hang out with them every night..The hostel provides dinner service everyday as well, for the cost of 8 euro, there are starter,salad,main dish,dessert and wine. The dinners are awesome, and i ordered it every night..thanks to Antonio the chef, who is also the free tour guide there.I was asked to give constructive criticism...it is really hard to think of any.. i love this place, a lot, and is by far the best i´ve ever been.The owners really love and take care of this place a lot, one of them even said ,"´it´s her baby".and I extended my staying here for two more days,as i really enjoy my staying a lot.For the constructive criticism,the guitar they have lost one of the strings,maybe they should fix it.
