Liked: The owner of the hostel, Pedro, did an excellent job of promoting a sense of community between the people staying there...it was so fun to sit in the living room or in the kitchen getting to know the other people that I had to remember to go out and see the city, too!

Disliked: Not much to dislike, it was great.

Liked: this is a great place! its not in a very touristy area, but still close to everything. its clean safe and the staff is incredibly helpful! a great hostel!

Liked: Everything. The oner is friendly and helpful, the area is very good and is also really cheap.

Liked: the place has real nice character, the owner Pedro is really nice, interesting and friendly person, the hostel is quite small but very cozy and authentic.

Disliked: It was very cold, there was no heating working in the house, we were freezing. Everything else was ok

Liked: Great owner, friendly and very helpful. You can even ask him to pick you up from the airport or send you.

Disliked: Quite far from city centre and metro.

Liked: It was so comfortable and nice to stay there that we fall in love with Lisboa and already booked new tickets there! Perfect location on peaceful and atmospheric district. Pedro, our host, was the best ever and we even came friends and celebrated Christmas together! Thank you!

Disliked: Nothing - our host really made his best and we appreciate that!

Liked: Its location, an easy walk from the town centre, with several attractions closeby and an abundance of roadside cafes and genuine craft stores - rather than tourist tatt - lining the narrow streets.

Disliked: I personally didn't have an issue with the number of bathrooms(one), but others might.

Liked: Location is not bad. Near to convenience store and trams.

Disliked: The bathtub is very narrow and slippery. It is not possible to stand as there is not enough space and we will slip if we do attempt to stand. Quite dangerous.

Liked: People were very friendly and we were close to the big terrasse where you can take "the apero" at the beginning of the night (or all the night).

Disliked: Room was really tiny and we could ear everything. There was too much noise because it 's more an hostel for young people travelling together. I won't go there again with a family or with my partner if we want to be calm.

Liked: Everything was fantastic! The accomodations are excellent, clean, safe, and all you could possibly expect out of a hostel. It's in a great neighborhood, close to a grocery store and some good restaurants, and a short walk from the coast. The things that we loved the most about Johnie's place, though, were the people. The owner, Pedro, and everyone else here was great. They made the experience we had here better than we could have hoped for, and we can't wait to get back.

Disliked: Breakfast was a little light, but what the hell, we paid 10 euros per night.

Disliked: bad location,up lots of hills.. quite a noisy property at night that the staff did nothing to stop.

Liked: Clean hostel with great environment, perfect to know other people and discover the real Lisboa! Beautiful view right in front!! Loved it!

Liked: Our reception at the hostel was very pleasant as well as our stay. The location of the hostel is great and close to almost all major sights.

Disliked: We forgot a bag with bread and other things in the kitchen and in the morning when we were have a breakfast, someone had eaten all our bread. That was really unpleasant.

Liked: Staff was extremely helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area.

Disliked: It was a little bit hard to get to from the Train Station, but the directions were given well on the site.

Liked: Great atmosphere (all thanks to Pedro and other travellers ;)), me and my friends really enjoyed our stay there. And location as far as I'm concerned is really nice with a nice view point just nearby :)

Disliked: Maybe just breakfast was quite little and there's only one bathroom but the place is small so it's not a big deal :)
