Liked: The staff and the atmosphere that they generate.The hostel is only two years old so everything still works well. The management are planning to open other hostels in Portugal and Spain so they are very aware of the need to have the edge on their competitors

Liked: This is a unique hostel which is particularly good for people travelling alone, as they had some sort of social activity organised every evening, which would be a great way of meeting people.

Liked: First we booked three nights and then we decided to stay one more and we were there also 2 nights more after being in Sintra for one night. So this is the place to be.Here you meet people if you're keen to. They arrange activities for every day, but if you'd like to be by yourself that's not a problem. All the happenings end before midnight, so that doesn't disturb anybodys sleep.If we're going again to Lisbon, this will definetely be the place to stay.Cheers for the staff!!!

Liked: I really like the staff I met there!! They are so helpfull and nice to talk to. And of course the location! What can be better then Alfama district in Lisbon!? I'd like to have that view from the balcony they have... If you want to feel the ambience of the town so go to this hostel for sure!

Liked: This hostel was recommended to us by other backpackers who stayed here. It is possibly the best hostel we have stayed at so far. The staff were really friendly, it was in walking distance to nearby attractions. The hostel has cheap meal nights of typical portugese food and offers free tours. Our room was very cute and clean. I would definately stay here again and recommend to all!

Liked: Alfama Patio Hostel is unbelievable for its staff that makes it like a friend s house and for the location as well. The atmosphere in there is perfect due to the staff and also the nice ppl u meet there. Almost every night something s happening like BBq or movie night or pub crawl with the staff - we did all of them during our stay and it was just great! This is the 1st hostel I ve stayed in that is 100% worth it s money ! Anytime I go back to Lisbon I will definitely choose Alfama Patio Hostel again, that s why I warmly recommend it to anyone looking for a hostel in Lisbon! LOVED THE GREAT TIME SPENT THERE! Thanks guys!

Liked: The hostel is very nice, quite a nice view across city and the river from the terrasse, rooms are in very good condition (just the bathroom was tiny), food is excellent, especially at the barbecue on Saturday evenings, its in a old cahracteristic part of Lisboa and can be reached by the famous tram 28 if you don't like to walk. I liked this hostel with the beautiful patio a lot and definitely would come back.

Liked: With the Alfama Patio Hostel you get the feeling of being in a very friendly hotel. It´s not like other hostels - it´s clean and really nicely decorated. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The place is well looked after, both it terms of being kept clean and modernised, with quirky decorative details everywhere. It´s located right in the heart of Alfama, with a brilliant patio and amazing roof terrace overlooking the river over Alfama´s cute pastel-coloured houses. Tram 28 passes right outside. There are lots of info on Lisbon and the surrounding areas in reception, and the hostel organises activities on different nights of the week. On one of our nights´ stay they screened the film ´Lisbon Story´outside on the roof terrace, handing out free popcorn and blankets so we could be cosy! We adored our stay and would definitely stay again!

Liked: Alfama Patio had a great mixture of places where people were from. The staff was very helpful in recommending places to visit, as well as providing other information about Lisbon...not to mention how beautiful all the women who worked there were. I definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling through Lisbon, especially those from the states; it was a great experience.

Liked: Probably one of the best hostels We have been. The staff is very kind and helpful in all moments. They have activities that help to meet people, We loved specially the "Latin Party" and the Saturday night's Barbecue, we made a lot of friends. The location is in the Moorish quarter of Lisbon, a Magic place near many of the attractions of the city, and at a walking distance from the center. The views from the terrace are very good. If we go back to Lisbon, definitely We will stay at Alfama Patio.

Liked: It is very nice atmosphere between stuff and guests of Alfama Patio Hostel. They are helpfull and really friendly. Location is great and you can feel artistic climate of Alfama! Interior design is very well and functional. Especially terrace and patio are nice space for rest and spend a time together with your friends. You can take your time or join to programme offer by hostel: movies, barbecue or party with DJ.I felt there very well and I will recommend this hostel to my friends!
