Liked: Everything here was amazing. Location, facilities, cleanliness, breakfast. But what made it so great were the people running the place and people working there made you really feel like you apart of the Hostel family. I was travelling alone, but felt like I was away at a beachhouse with 10 of my friends. Great place to stay. V.v. highly recommended.

Liked: This hostel is wonderful! The atmosphere is great, for both solo travelers and those traveling with friends. It is clean, cheap, and in a good location. It is in the old part of the city, so it is not as noisy as the other hostels in the center, but still very central. The staff are AMAZING. The breakfast is generous and delicious, and so was the BBQ on Sat night. I had a fabulous time and I literally cried when I had to leave today.

Liked: The location was very convinient: close to the city center and close to the railway main station.

Disliked: The toilet - shower was really small.

Liked: Everything is really great. People are friendly and the hostel is really special! You can find a company or be on your own. Sintra tour is really great and cheap. It includes an ocean sightseeing.

Disliked: It's a bit difficult to find it for the first time, but after you learn the city a bit you understand that it's well connected and close to everything.

Liked: We were are travelling with our children. A beautiful place with a friendly andhelpful staff. Every day they offer cheap dinners and a big breakfast.The room and the shower were clean. We had a wonderful stay.Thank's so muchallso for DJ El MatadorBruno Luigi

Liked: Super cozy and the atmosphere is excellent~staff is friendly and helpful. I love the fantastic view of the river from the hostel.

Disliked: A little difficult to find on first arrival because Alfama area is really confusing, but just follow the direction!it helps!

Liked: I had a wonderful stay at Alfama Patio Hostel. The rooftop patio is simply divine - a lovely haven overlooking the water, where I ate my scrumptious breakfast pancakes every morning. The staff went out of their way to help - I left my bag on a tram and staff worked through the night to ensure I got it back safely. Everything is clean and cosy and there is a really nice atmosphere. I fell in love with Lisbon and the hostel and will definitely return!

Liked: Incredible staff, nice facilities. Awesome patio - great for meeting people and talking about your day or other travels. A very relaxed atmosphere. Will definately visit again when I'm back in Lisbon!

Disliked: washrooms were right by reception - bit a big deal but not a ton of privacy in that regard. Everything else was fantastic.

Liked: Pancakes for breakfast, even when I was 5 minutes late for breakfast, the staff still made me a great breakfast without a word of complaint. The beds are so comfy, and smell nice. The view from the patio was awesome, even though it rained all weekend. Best of all, I met lots of fun people from all over the world.

Disliked: Breakfast on weekends is too early, 8-10.30am especially since most people go out till late to Barrio Alto.
