What a fabulous place to stay! The staff are so great that they make it feel more like a home than a hostel. The dorm rooms are spacious and clean. It definitely has one of the best hostel kitchens I have ever seen. The outdoor area is fantastic for chilling out, especially relaxing in the hammocks or checking out the view from the patio. If you get the chance, be there on a Saturday night for the barbeque and all you can drink sangria! Will definitely stay here again next time I am in Lisbon.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and tidy with a comfortable feel. We had the double room (sunniest room in the building apparently). It was fairly expensive for a hostel but this is a *good* hostel - smart room, great view, great shower (I can't stress enough how good the shower was!). Breakfast was included (toast, coffee etc) and for a euro you can grab a beer from the fridge. The girl who "looke after" us while we were there was extremely happy to help - giving us way more information than we asked for and helping us with maps etc. The only thing I would say is that it's not the easiest place to find - just remember to go around the corner and up the hill a little bit (after the small cafe and stairs on the right). You'll know what I mean when you get there.

The patio was a great place to unwind after a day's walking around the hilly Alfama area.
It's difficult to find to begin with, but is on the tram route which makes it easier to locate.

Staff were great! They even put on a birthday party for one of the guests. It was my first time traveling alone and it couldn't have been better. The hostel had a fun atmosphere and was a great place to meet people. I felt very safe there. It was by far the best hostel I've stayed in. If you're going to Lisbon this is the hostel to stay at.

Truly amazing location, in the heart of the Alfama, plus the Electrico 28 will bring you straight to Bairro Alto via Baixa, but trust me you'll want to stay in the area, and profit from the owner's precious tips, far from all the tourists. These tips are now displayed on a huge annotated satellite view of Lisboa, conveniently hung in the kitchen. Quiet but not too quiet. Young, very friendly and very helpful staff. Hostel is very clean, and beds extra comfortable. Wonderful terrace with view on the Rio Tejo and the Tram :) Nice garden with hammocks and a bbq. Very secure, with extra (curious) watch from the old neighbours in the yard :) Clever daily suggestions are prepared nightly for you. To be honest I should not even review this place, as I want it to stay the way it is, and hidden!

The staff were a great help with everything and were very friendly. Also the outdoor facilities were awesome. Only bad thing about this hostel was that the showers were too small but had good pressure.
