 The staff was very personable and helped me get the most out of my experience. Not only did they point me in the right direction for sight-seeing during the day, they also went out of their way to show me Portugal's amazing night life. At the same time the hostel maintained a cozy atmosphere that felt like a second home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would stay in Lisbon Old Town Hostel again!

i normally would never give a 100% rating to any hostel but this one was so good. the staff was so helpful and they all really got to know the guests. they made everyone feel welcome. it was a great great place to stay

The hostel is situated in the old town, in a quiet area, what I like. Because it's a fairly new hostel, it's still fresh and clean. Very helpfull staff (making dinerreservations, showing directions, asking how your day was, etc). Free internet, free breakfast.

i did like the atmosphere,locatin, the staff, the hosteling is very safety and the facilities are clean...so very hightly recommended!!!

This is an awesome hostel in a great location staffed by friendly and helpful people. There is not one reason I can think of not to stay here. Is great value for money.

simply great....couldn't have hoped for a better place. the facilties are very good and the location is excellent.... but more than anything else , it was the warmth and liveliness the place exuded which made the stay unforgettable.

very friendly staff. free and available internet. great common room. the only problem was there was very little privacy between rooms because parts of the walls are only glass, noise and private conversations are a bit of an issue.

everyone was super friendly i had a great time. great place to spend my b-day thanks guys :-). loved the 24 hour bread and cereal too haha. i would definitely go to this hostel again. tons of fun!

el ambiente estuvo muy bien, acojedor, muy amables los encargados, nos ayudaban mucho con informacion para poder hacer los recorridos turisticos, los baños limpios, las habitaciones amplias y las camas estaban bien. En general todo estuvo muy bien

The staff was amazing, recommended me where to go and what to do - made me feel at home! On top of that there was free Internet and breakfast all day long... Not to mention the DVD sessions people had in the living room every now and again. The staff's friends sometimes come around and make the atmosphere even livelier... I have travelled a lot and this must be one of the best hostels I have ever been to!!

Nice spaces inside of the hotel, big and comfortable rooms, kitchen and dining room. Outstandingly kind stuff. Has it ever happened to you that you are desparately trying to find your hostel in the dark after the whole day traveling, having lost the exact adress, and you just get a call: "Hi, Nora, you have a reservation in our hostel and haven't turned up yet. We just wanted to make sure if you're lost or... " That's a gesture towards friends you are really looking forward to meeting. And Lisbon Old Town Hostel has many other natural and friendly gestures like that. Simply perfect for short or longer stay.
