From Oriente Train Station and Santa Apolónia Train Station (we recommend you go out in this one, instead of Oriente):
Catch the Metro to the station Baixa do Chiado and follow the instructions in ‘From Metro’.
From the airport:
Catch the Metro to the Station ‘Baixa-Chiado‘ and then follow the instructions in ‘From Metro’
Catch bus number 44 (from 05:05 to 24:00) or 208 (from 23:30 to 04h30), towards Cais do Sodré, and go to the end. Or catch the Aero-Bus (91), which runs every 20 minutes, at the same place.
Once out of the bus, you have to walk up the steep street Rua do Alecrim. Take the second left up Rua do Ataíde, go straight until you are forced to turn right and go up and feel the good vibes. Lisbon Old Town Hostel is the green door on your right at the end of the street.
From bus stops: Sete-Rios and Oriente (both have a metro station):
Catch the Metro to Baixa do Chiado and follow the instructions in ‘From Metro’.
From Metro (from 06:30 to 01:00):
Go to the station Baixa do Chiado. After crossing the ticket control head towards Largo do Chiado. Go up the stairs, turn right and walk straight until you reach a big square with a statue in the middle (Luis de Camões Square).
Walk straight down the street on the left side of the square (Rua da Horta Seca).
When you reach the end, turn left and go straight, the street is called Rua das Chagas.
At the end, turn left and go down. The green door in the big white hall (check photo) is the entrance for Lisbon's best accomodation. Ring and expect a big smile and a good welcome.
