 Everything is good about this hostel, the stuff are super-friendly, parties organised by hostel to get to know portugese culture and to make friends, the breakfast was great and filling, the internet works fast here and the shower was hot and clean, security was very good, and location was in the central shopping district, best hostel i have stayed so far.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, everything was very clean, great breakfast, good security for you and your belongings, and something organised every night to bring all the travellers together. I have been travelling for nearly a year now and this is the best hostel I have stayed at!

The atmosphere is laid back, fun, and social. The common space is one of the most comfortable I have experienced in a European hostel. Plus, the owner puts a great deal of love into the cleaniness, and offerings, you can tell he works hard everyday to make it the best experience for travellers. Oh, one last thing...it is now non-smoking which makes the common space more comfortable for everyone.

This hostel is the best hostel i have ever stayed in. I would definately recommend it to anyone wanting a fun, safe, clean place to stay. The staff were SO friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was free, and included hot eggs, cooked on the spot. The bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely clean, the internet was free, there is a tv room with a huge range of dvd's, and a kitchen and lounge room as well. Lockers are provided in the rooms, and also have a safe in them. The lockers are huge, definately big enough for a large suitcase. The staff were happy to recommend places to eat, and helped us find good walking tours, shops and generally helped us with anything we needed. There is also a laundry service.
Out of all the hostels i've stayed in, this was the best.

This hostal is amazing, so comfortable! This place is more homely than home. I didn`t want to leave. I can`t put into words how good this place is!!! Plus there is the beautiful Nana on reception.

This is easily the best hostel at which I have stayed. Everything about this hostel is top notch. Smoking is unfortunately permitted in all the most popular lounge areas (also right next to the kitchen and dining area), but it is not allowed anywhere else. The entertainment area has a 42" plasma with several dozen dvds available to watch for free. The place has a really good vibe and comfortable amenities. The beds are comfortable and relatively spacious. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The location is perfect. If you go to Lisbon, you must stay here!

The staff were so friendly and looked like really enjoying working there. "Luxurious" and photogenic facilities, impeccable service. The only thing I am worrying about is this perfect hostel might be getting harder and harder to book..!

This place is excellent!! After some dodgy hotelsin Italy, this really stood out. staff are excellent, position is very central, very clean. it has a real family atmosphere. they organise special nights to meet people, i was there on wine night. For 5 euros, 10 bottles of portugese wine and as much as you can drink. top stuff!

I met a lot of people in the hostel. Everybody was so kind and friendly. I think the hostel is the best place to meet people and have a party I've ever been.

No joke, best hostel I have ever stayed at. Great place, great facilities, great atmosphere. More importantly, the staff is charismatic, accommodating and goes way out of their way to help (wine tastings, etc). Also met some fantastic people.
