Liked: What can I say, there is a reason why this place is highly rated! Staff could not be friendlier. Everything they suggested was perfect. So for the staff I want to say a bug thank you for making my trip perfect. As for the property I have zero complaints. It's clean tidy and has a chilled out atmosphere. Every night has an organised event so makes it easy if you're a single traveller. So to sum up I've stayed at a lot of hostels all over the world and this place is without a doubt in my top ten and high on that list. Thanks

Liked: Best hostel I have ever stayed in. Unbeleivably great location. Huge meeting areas where you can meet everyone in the hostel. Do the nightly hostel activities, they were great. The staff was incredibly helpful and outgoing. Extremely clean. The free breakfast was great, they cook you fresh scrambled eggs on request!

Disliked: Absolutely no negative aspects. There are some hostels that do a few things well, this hostel does everything well!

Liked: This place is the most amazing hostel I have ever stayed in! I was greeted with a smile and a handshake. The guy was very informative and clearly loves his city as much as his hostel. The guy helped create a few itineraries based on my interests. The ladies cook delicious eggs for breakfast. Excellent and clean facilities-amazing showers, clean rooms, own safes and free storage, sturdy, comfortable beds, and great location! They organize great tours every day! I recommend the all the events. I met a lot of great people, experienced Fado show, liquers, wine, Portugese food. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone who is traveling to Lisbon!

Liked: I quite like the lady who makes fried eggs every morning and she's so nice! The soundproof of the rooms are good too, unlike what I expericed in Porto.

Disliked: the wifi signal is only available on the 1st floor and i have to go down everytime i want use it.

Liked: Excellent location and staff. The place has a character and is very secure,free lockers and extra secure box inside the locker. towels for hire for free, delicious breakfast.I haven't been to a better hostel!!

Liked: The staff was amazing! So helpful, gave me great advice on cool places to explore--they really knew Lisbon, not just the stereotypical tourist sites. When I had trouble with a tour I'd booked they kept calling the company for me while I was out during day and spoke on the phone finally, figuring out what the problem was as I speak no Portuguese. I appreciated everything as I was traveling alone for the first time. The kitchen was clean and lovely. The rooms were also very nice with large lockers (I stayed in a 6 person room) The internet was good. Everyone was just so nice and I felt very comfortable during my entire stay. It was the best hostel I've ever stayed in. And breakfast is delicious!!

Disliked: The locks on the lockers do make a bit of noise when they pop open which is frustrating when you're asleep and someone opens their locker late at night and the walls are a little thin, but noise is something to put up with in any hostel.

Liked: friendly staff, excellent location, large lockers with a safe, eggs for breakfast cooked by the staff, events every night, nice common room

Disliked: nothing for me personally but for people who travel with heavy luggage the stairs may be an issue. also the kitchen is not suitable for multiple groups cooking at the same time as it is small

Liked: I am spending one Semester studying in Lisbon and People at the Hostel helped me a lot to get along, find an accomodation and so on. Besides there were always fun and interesting people

Liked: I've been backpacking all around Europe for the last 6 months with some friends, hands down this is the best hostel i've stayed out, atmosphere is perfect, awesome place to meet people and to have a good time! hostel manager Joao (spelling?) was awesome bloke, really made you feel like a long lost friend, other workers were great aswell... chorizo night is amazing, keg night is even better.... location perfect, all round cant fault it! heres a tip for guys - grow a moustache before you come here, they'll like you even more haha, gotta love Lisbon
