Liked: EVERYTHING! Great place! Great location! Fun atmosphere! Awesome dorm rooms......they thought of everything! Extremely helpful staff! Loved it! Want to go back! (And I've stayed in a lot of hostels.)

Liked: Travellers house is very homely. We settled in almost immediatley and it just felt like home. It was very sociable and the activities organised for the night were great and seemed very reasonable priced for what you got, especially the tascas night! The staff were very friendly and helpful and were very concerned about your wellbeeing in the hostel. Because of this it seemed especially good for lone travellers! There were alot staying there actually. I would reccomend this hostel to anyone. We had the best time there!

Liked: BEST hostel I've ever stayed in! Amazing rooms - great character, really clean. Really good social/common area. Free internet (and iPads if the computers are busy!). Incredible location, right in the heart of the tourist area. Staff are so much fun!

Liked: The atmosphere really allowed you to kick back and chill. As a solo traveller it has an environment where you can get to know other people. The staff offer great suggestion on activities and know the public transport system back to front, meaning they are a great help geting around. While checkout was at 12, they let me stay around in the arvo and use the facilities until my train left in the late arvo. I ended up staying longer than planned in Lisbon mostly due to the great staff and atmosphere at the hostel.

Disliked: Could not find a single complaint.

Liked: such friendly and helpful staff. everything you could possibly need is provided including a full cooked breakfast every day.

Liked: great location, great staff

Disliked: The popularity of this hostel attracted a..different type of traveler. Backpackers looking for the traditional hostel should avoid Travellers. Also, the Hostel took us on a tour which was poorly organized and not enjoyable at all--left early to go to bed.

Liked: Amazing hostel! Fantastic social vibe and staff, great activities, excellent facilities - bean bags to lounge on in the common room, free useof ipads, great breaky (eggs on toast!), fully stocked kitchen with herbs and spices and condiments, clean rooms and comfy beds. Loved it!!

Liked: This place is AMAZING. BEST hostel we have EVER stayed in! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They will sit down with you and talk you through what you should go and see. They had something on every night we were there like a wine tasting, peri peri chicken night etc. Great way to meet other travelers by taking part in these evenings. The room was fantastic. Comfy beds, great locker system. Bathrooms were perfectly clean. These were shared but I never had to cue for a shower or the bathroom. We went to the beach one day and were given beach towels and an umbrella to take for free. Can't recommend this place enough!!!!!!!

Liked: All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. They gave great suggestions of places to visit around Lisbon, including restaurants and bars only locals would know to suggest. They organized great trips and night outings, and made it really easy to meet new people. The hostel is really clean and nice, and has a GREAT atmosphere. I LOVED my stay at Travellers House and would definately come back!

Liked: Awesome hostel!! We got a warm welcoming and a tour by the owner upon arrival and had a blast at the wine tasting that night. Beds are incredibly comfy, bathrooms are clean, and the free breakfast is good! (eggs, toast, coffee, juice, cereal) just a great, fun place to stay - I'd definitely reccomend it for backpackers and younger people.

Liked: Everything. The people that work there are some of the most charismatic individuals I've ever met. The were all very informative and it didn't feel like a hostel at all. It felt like a second home.

Liked: Amazing friendly helpful staff, extremely accommodating and flexible. Always went above and beyond. Fantastic location. All the activities and social nights the hostel put on have authentic cultural flavour and are great for socialising and meeting other travellers. There are bar crawls of course but things like portuguese food and wine nights, fado nights, add a cultural zing!

Liked: Good character property. Very freindly and helpful staff. Clean. In centre of Lisbon and very easy to get to.

Disliked: Although it is on a pedestrianised street (as advertised on the site), there are actually vehicles that do use this street during night hours - ie street cleaning vehicles, rubbish pick ups including glass being picked up and quite noisy as its being put into lorry, delivery vans and lorries. Therefore not as quiet as perhaps I was expecting!

Liked: The best part are the cozy and spacious common rooms which are just a great place for hanging out, meeting people or getting ready for your next day-trip. They also organize activities like bar crawls every night, which are really worth joining. The location on the Rua Augusta is perfect, being in the very centre of the city, and busy during the day, but relatively quiet at night.

Disliked: The 6-bed dorms are a bit small and cramped.

Liked: It was the best staff I have ever had in a hostel, staff really went the extra mile to meet everybody and make you feel at home. The activities and integration in the hostel are exceptional.
