All of the staff were extremly friendly and always wanted to help and there were loads of activities on offer. Overall the hostel felt very relaxed but also very safe so will definitely be coming here again

This is an amazing hostel. Great location, very friendly, helpful staff, relaxed and fun vibe. Beds are great, plenty of room, secure storage, clean. The hostel offers tours and night-time fun, like happy hour and traditional snacks, movie nights etc. I can't say enough about this hostel, it was so great, please go there.

The common and dining room enable people to meet. It was very clean and felt somewhat like an open house which was nice.

Mostly everything was great. A little more privacy in the way the bathrooms are set up would be nice e.g. main entry doors to bathrooms instead of it being open.

By far the best hostel I've stayed in in Europe! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the common areas are great for meeting people. Every detail was in place to make our stay in Lisbon amazing. Travellers House truly deserves their ridiculously high rating!

The staff were amazing- so enthusiastic and informative which is hard to find in a lot of hostels! Plus I enjoyed the tours they put on and the events at night- overall it was definitely the best hostel I have ever been to!

The staff was very friendly and helpfull fromt the moment I stepped in. It is a lovely funky and small hostel in a great & safe location, very clean with big lockers for storage in the rooms. Was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at :). - H.A; NZ

A fantastic place from which to explore the city. For both location and helpfullness of the staff.
The owners and staff were incredibly helpfull in making your stay as easy going as possible and you just couldn't ask them the wrong thing, if they didn't know the answer to a question they would find out for you ~ immediately.
Spotlessly clean and a good breakfast.

I absolutely loved this hostel for a variety of reasons. They had free internet with good computers and skype available. There were events going on every night like wine tasting and pub crawls, and on top of that they offered tours going out into Lisbon and to Sintra. The best part though was the atmosphere, and the the staff who were so friendly and always willing to help. I would definitely come back here next time i´m in Lisbon.

This is THE best hostal we´ve ever stayed at. It was like being at home but with a new family! The facility and location was perfect. The staff was very invested in making sure we had a great stay and got to where you wanted to get. They had really fun theme nights each night in the lobby (we´ve been to lame theme nights...) but this was the perfect atmosphere to meet fellow travelers in a very relaxed manner. The Kitchen was a huge plus for us because food abroad is always questionable, so we got to make our own stuff in a very homey kitchen. Plus there was ALWAYS hot water, and always a minibar stocked with reasonably priced drinks from soda to beer to water.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of the main street in Lisbon but still quiet enough at night..the hostel was so comfortable and cozy that it really felt like coming home after the day out AND the best was the extremely friendly and helpful staff!!
