Liked: Particularly warm welcome by owners: hugs, kisses, basket full of fresh fruits every morning - you feel like visiting your relatives! Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Nice swimming pool outside. Quiet surroundings.

Disliked: Nothing important. Location is ideal if you have a car (free parking at the front door). But a walk to Lagos downtown or beaches wouldn't be very pleasant (too distant location, no route for pedestrians). No Wi-Fi in a room (sygnal is too weak).

Liked: It is a quiet and beautiful villa with a great swimming pool. I loved to be able to have breakfast on the balcony overlooking the pool. It is a perfect house for a romantic holidays. The owners are very welcoming and make you feel home. Perfect for people that want to get away from the condominium and want to feel part of the local life.

Liked: We loved our stay at Villa Minerva. Maria, the owner, greeted us as welcoming as the portuguese can and our rooms were beautifully decorated. Room included a kettle, a fridge and some cups and cutlery to get your own breakfast/lunch conveniently out of the nearby supermarket. Poolside was beautiful and our rooms were located right next to the area so we could enjoy from their beautiful garden while having lunch on our terrace. Our room also had a basket full of fresh fruit out of the garden waiting for us. Beaches and town were easy to get to, either by bus or by walking (about a half an hour walk..).

Disliked: We have nothing bad to say about the place :)

Liked: The owner of this villa is really friendly and helpful towards backpackers! He really made us feel as though we are part of his family and we really feel like we are at home. He even allowed me to use his private computer to print some documents out even though I offered to pay for the documents. As his villa was really a distance away from the city centre, he offered to drive us to the bus station when we checked out in the morning. I really love my stay there! And I would come back to Lago just to stay in his villa.

Disliked: The location is a bit far from the city centre but it is near to the beach. Around 20 minutes walk away.

Liked: Beautiful villa in the immediate outskirts of Lagos. The owners are extremely nice and helpful and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The property offers a private pool and is perfect for relaxing. We were three couples, so took up 3 of the 4 rooms available and it seemed like we had the entire Villa to ourselves. Great place.
