Liked: the owners of the hostel are extremely nice. they will help you with anything you need help with and the hostel is really nice. its really good location to the beach and has a lot of restaurants nearby, just ask the staff for their reccomendations on where to eat and they can give you a list. definintely stay here.

Liked: It was cute and the location was good. Note that this is on a pedestrian street though, somewhat hard to find if you're in a car.....learned the hard way.

Liked: There were fresh towels bought every day! The place also had a beautiful courtyard and a fully equipt kitchen.

Liked: great location, friendly people, very clean and homey. only problem is that if you get a room facing the street it's quite loud outside, depending on which house you get put in. would recommend room that faces inside or to be put on quite street.

Liked: The lady at reception was incredibly hepful, recommending two fabulous places to eat---great food, big helpings, super cheap. She planned a day for us up the coast as we were driving towards Lisbon, she told us about some other sights that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. She drove with us to help us park our car and then accompanied us to the restaurant she had recommended for dinner. Amazing hospitality.

Liked: the reception staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help at any time of day.We had trouble booking our bus ro our next destination so the reception organised it all for us. I cant praise casa amarela enough,a beautiful location,hostel,fantastic people,an unfogettable experience.
