Liked: The Description is completely accurate!!! Great Location: 10 minutes walk to beach, 5 minutes walk from city center. Zelinda is a wonderful host who is very friendly, ready to help at any time with a great smile!!

Liked: It is a very clean Guesthouse. Zelinda was very friendly and helped us whereever she could. We stayed 5 days longer as planed, because we liked the location, the guesthouse und zelinda very much.

Liked: We loved staying at Azelinda's- beautiful rooms very near the centre of Lagos with access to kitchen and dining room area. Azelinda gives you a lovely welcome and creates a very friendly family atmosphere. It's really nice and quiet but not far from the Lagos party scene!

Liked: There were incredibly friendly and helpful owners. Additionally guesthouse offer very clean rooms, quite nice kitchen and bathroom which was ok. But mainly there were magic family atmosphere (not so common in places like these).

Disliked: There were not 24 hour hot showers and Internet.

Liked: This hostel is great! Zelinda is such a lovely person, she's very helpful and does anything possible to make you feel safe and at home. The hostel is well located (at a quiet place, but the supermarket, city centre and beaches are all at walking distance) and the rooms are very clean. The kitchen is also available for guests (if you don't feel like eating out every day). The view from the living room window is really amazing! Zelinda, thank you very much again for all your help and trouble, we'll be back soon!:D

Liked: Azelinda is a very friendly hostess and picked us up from the bus station, eventhough we arrived quite late at night. I definitely recommend calling or at least emailing her and letting her know when you arrive, because it is very hard to find her otherwise and she is happy to pick you up with her car. She has 5 guesthouses and you don´t know which one you will stay at. We stayed with her sister and her husband, who are very friendly, but don´t speak a word of English. There was a nice little outdoor eating area. The location is great, only a few minutes by foot to the town center and the biggest beach (Maia Praia). All other beaches are a bit of a walk since they are further away from town. Not the place if you want to invite people over or meet other travellers, but good if you want some peace and quiet. The room was very clean, the rest of the apartment (bathroom, kitchen) was ok. Thought the price was a bit high since breakfast was not included and there was no internet where we stayed (though Azelinda offered that we could come by her house and use her laptop anytime).

Liked: I have really enjoyed my stay at Azelinda's Guesthouse! Zelinda herself is one of the most energetic, friendly and helpful people I have met on my travels. The Guesthouse is about 2 mins walk from the city centre and for two girls traveling alone we felt very safe here. Thanks to Zelinda and her sister for making our stay in Lagos so comfortable :)

Disliked: If you are looking to meet other travelers and for a place with a party atmosphere this is not the place to stay and there are some neighbouhood dogs but those are the only negative aspects I can think of.

Liked: the lady that lived there did our washing for free everything even soked my socks now they r the whitest since i bought them. Azelinda is a lovely person picked us up from the bus, gave us heaps of advice about lagos and she is funny too always making jokes. i tried to stay longer but she didnt have vacancies

Liked: I am a returning guest, having stayed at Azelinda's two years ago. I highly recommend this guesthouse. It is safe, very clean, and close to the beach. Ideal for couples, singles, or groups of 3 persons who like a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Azelinda and Marta are friendly and helpful. They will even pick you up at the bus or train station. A+.

Liked: Clean, quiet, well equiped kitchen, nicely decorated, convenient for the centre of town and supermarket. Friendly, helpful owner. Only drawback was that the website room price was incorrect. However I booked for 4 nights and stayed 10 nights as the accommodation was very comfortable and as a woman on her own I felt very safe.

Liked: We loved this guesthouse! So comfy and homely. Zelinda is a lovely lady, she picked us up from the bus station and was always there to offer help with navigating around Lagos. The ocean views are breathtaking too! Thank you Zelinda!!
