Liked: Central location close to main bus stations/stops, cable car, shops, marina and old town. 24 hour reception. Nice, modern looking room. Great value for the money.

Disliked: Wifi didn't reach my top floor room, I had to sit on the stairs near the reception with my tablet. Some of the staff spoke English, some didn't.

Liked: Perfect location, free wireless internet connection, helpful staff and very cheap for the season.

Disliked: Our shower curtain was too short and some water came out. As it is close to the "Mercado dos Lavradores" it's a little noisy in the moorning.

Liked: This place has great location. Friendly staff, housekeeper came everyday with clean towels. Private bathroom with warm watter all the time, tv. We had there very pleasant stay, even if we were away almost all day every day.

Disliked: No kitchen or fridge in the room.

Liked: Great value for money. Nice location

Disliked: Was not easy to find. I had the impression that was very small and never found other people either in mt way out or in.

Liked: Great value for your money. Rooms with bathroom and cable tv. Extremely well located.

Disliked: Very noisy early in the morning as it is located in front of a market. No cooking facilities. Rooms not very well noise isolated.

Liked: The Location was amazing, so close to the centre, with everything you need at your door step, the staff were friendly and welcoming and did not hesitate to fulfill any requests. I loved the fresh towels daily!

Disliked: There were no cooking facilities avaliable, not even a kettle in the room to make tea or coffee, so we had to always venture out to find places to eat, and when your on a budget it's not great. The shower was clean however the shower head released a stream of water rather then a normal shower head, which would without disappointment flood our bathroom! hence the extra clean towels

Liked: The staff was wonderful. One staff spoke more English than the other but they both were very helpful. The location was wonderful, although could be noisy because of the market but not too bad. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends. They found us a kettle which was awesome and even let us do laundry.

Disliked: Only negative was no common area, however my reason for staying here was not to meet people so this was not an issue

Liked: Very, very cheap, excellent Wi-Fi reception, centrally located, next to cheap fresh food market (mercado dos Lavradores), close to many attrractions, including transport and the incredible cable car!!

Disliked: Very noisy if your room faces the street, situated opposite fresh food markets with produce trucks arriving early (5:00 am) and situated on top of about 5 or 6 small bars which remain noisy late into the night (May be less noisy for rooms that do not face the street). Beds were not very comfortable - you can feel the springs and framework sticking in your back.

Liked: Value for money stay in a genuine Funchal pensión. Easy access to the Old Town and the City Centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A bed and bathroom for a good price. All the traveller needs.

Liked: Very close to all Funchal main sights and communication ways. It is the best place to start every journey inside and outside Funchal, with the whole of long distance buses crossing the main road 20 meters away from the hotel entrance.Good atmosphere, WLAN internet service included.

Liked: Very near to town center and easy to find. Room was clean, big enough and with the balcony, cable tv and telephone(if you u need it :D). They offer you all the privacy you need.
