Figueira Surf Camp Soul Resort

Figueira Surf Camp is strategically located on the north side of the Buarcos Bay, over Mondego Cape, rising to the Serra da Boa Viagem (Mountain of Good Voyage).

Our house is a recent building surrounded by lovely windows allowing you to enjoy the excellent sea and mountain views.

We are easily accessible by car or by bus, 100m away from the waves and in close proximity many other surf spots.

Accommodation Information

We offer 3 types of lodging according to price and lifestyle of the visitor:

- Shared room in double cabins. Four people per room with private bathroom and shared kitchen. Living and sharing experiences in a relaxed but comfortable environment.

- Double/single rooms. Two bed with private bathroom. They provide excellent comfort for the warriors' rest after a long day of surfing. Ideal for the lonely surfers or for small groups.

- Couple rooms. Queen Bed with private bathroom. These are ideal for romantic couples, providing suites with excellent views of the city, the mountain and, of course, the sea.

Location Information

Located in the center of Portugal, which allows for easy and fast access to Portugal’s two largest cities, Lisbon (200km) and Oporto (160km), and just 38 km away from Coimbra, the famous student city. Figueira da Foz was one of the original surf scenes in Portugal. At the start of the 70s, many lonely surfers would explore the great potential of the undiscovered coastline. The region was rapidly becoming known for the quality, consistency and diversity of wave types. The surf potential was later recognized by the WQS and WCT when the held international competitions in the region.

Years ago, Figueira da Foz was considered the queen of the Portuguese beaches. To this day it remains a popular tourist destination, welcoming all kinds of events year round.

In Figueira there’s always something fun for everyone. The summer streets are filled with young people. The bars and pubs attract many tourists which give a unique color and vibe to the warm lovely nights.
