Liked: Awesome staff/owners - I love you Fii Steve and Debbie!!!! Great chilled atmosphere, good parties, beautiful town, good advice where to eat, awesome kitchen - this hostel is frikin awesome

Liked: Everything was just really chill, like staying at any friends house. Debs, Steve and Fi were so kind and helpful and just generally offered a great time!

Disliked: The fact I didn't get to say goodbye to Fi... BYE FI!

Liked: Steve and Debbie both very nice people and are keen to make your stay as easy as possible. My girlfriend and I stayed there for just 1 night and had a great double room next to the bathroom on the top floor. Very clean and slept extremely well! BBQ and beers that night also great fun!

Liked: The Staff was the friendliest staff I have ever come across in a hostel. I was a part of the family the second I walked in the door. The social atmosphere was amazing. The service was amazing. Great place to stay I'd recommend it to anyone.

Disliked: I would have like to have stayed longer, but I couldn't because my flight was leaving.

Liked: Its a really cool place to stay and the staff are very friendly. There is a bar in the back area which is excellent.

Liked: Really-really-really good hostel! The hosts were sooo friendly and the atmosphere was the best of my 13day travel around Portugal. I was sad when i left this hostel!please! go to paintshop!!!

Liked: Steve and Debbie's retreat felt like a home away from home. It let me easily indulge all the sides of a working vacation -- blissful quiet mornings with my laptop and their trusty wireless and the camaraderie of vibrant evenings all incredibly coordinated by the Paintshop's amazing team. Simultaneously serene and a laugh riot, a home away from home and a sublime vacation among one of the Portugal's most famous beaches... Paintshop is incredibly flexible in meeting your needs (they even bought an extra bed when I wanted to linger longer -- thanks, guys) -- and work perfectly if you're flexible too.

Liked: The paintshop hostel was without any doubt the best hostel I ever stayed at! Warm and welcoming staff, great atmosphere, nice and clean rooms. Common area, bar and guest kitchen make it easy to meet other travellers. They organise BBQ and pizza nights, pub crawls,... It's a good place to party as well as just relax and get a good nights sleep.Thanks again to Debbie, Steve, Andy, I had an awesome time at your hostel!!!

Liked: This was the best hostel I stayed in, in Europe. I instantly felt at home because the hostel staff were so friendly. It was a great atmosphere and so much fun. If you go to Figueira you have to stay at the Paintshop!

Liked: We spent one night at the Paintshop Hostel; we could not have a better experience! The rooms are nice and CLEAN (we had a twin private); in the common area you can use tv, dvd, internet.. the atmosphere was just the best: friendly and relaxed! The staff is really helpful, they suggested places to go and gave us directions. We talked a lot to them and felt home. Eventually, they even gave us a ride, when they randomly met us walkin really far from the hostel! Thanks guys ;) Thumbs up for this place, go check it out!!! :)

Liked: Brilliantly friendly staff in well kept hostel. Near the bus station and 10 mins from the beach/casino. Cheap bike/surfboard hire available.

Liked: It is a fun, friendly place. The bar is awesome, BBQ night was cool- good value for money and met lots of people. Coming back in September!! Shout out to the staff who were so friendly- always smiling and willing to help out and answer questions.

Liked: I liked the fact that it felt like being at home. It's very relaxed and cool environment. You feel free to do your staff and it's easy to talk between the other guests. Also the staff is great, very friendly!!
