Liked: It's in a good place. The staff is kindly and friendly.

Disliked: the kitchen equipment is poor (microwave oven, fridge and there was only one chair).

Liked: The staff were very friendly.

Disliked: The location was not in a nice area of town and we had a room without a window which i would not recommend as it was incredibly hot and claustrophobic.

Liked: We had an awful experience that we can not find any thing positive.

Disliked: The house where they sent us to stay was suffering from neglet. The bathroom was very dirty with no privacy at all.

Liked: The stuff was very kind. We obtained private double instead of dormitory for the same price.

Disliked: Our room was without window so there was very hot.

Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff. Very centrally located in Faro getting you in walking distance to the central town.

Disliked: The dorm is very rough, untidy. Bathrooms and showers are camp-site-like. eventually it is very cheap and if one is looking for just a bed in a dorm than that's it. But one should not have any further expectations towards cleanliness or any sort of atmosphere. one is isolated from the rest of the hostel, which is a pity.

Liked: Some of the staff was very polite and helpful as for as getting to know the city and so forth, cool rooftop when decent view, just nice at night winding down.

Disliked: Overbooked the beds one night, created quite a hassle, tried to help by offering up my bed and was hardly compensate, and shafted on a ride to the airport. Was very disappointed.

Liked: Only good thing was how close it is to the train station

Disliked: This was by far the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. I dont normally write reviews but this one needs one. Firstly they didn't have my reservation. There are no locks on the front or room doors, anyone can walk in off the street. The bathrooms were filthy and there was no hot water. The sheets on the beds were also dirty and a yellow stained colour. The T.v didn't work nor did the Internet. Whatever you do don't stay here. Pay an extra 5 or 10 euro and stay somewhere decent.

Liked: Nothing, really.

Disliked: Staff incredibly unhelpful. Took ages to get check in, and the guy was complaining that there were too many guests and how badly he needed a cigarette. Dorm was across the street in a different building, with too many beds in too small a room. Every time you wanted to get in, you had to fetch someone at the front desk. One bathroom for 20 people, and dirty at that. Room was too hot, and there was a big argument with the staff when we wanted to turn the AC on in order to not die from the heat. No common areas to meet other people. You get what you pay for, but don't stay here.

Liked: Was pretty different to other hostels as we slept in a little cottage with 20 beds that was through a house an in the back yard. The stairs to get to it were awesome! Pus good place on the rof the blaze and chill :) Some good bars nice and close to the place with an easy stumble home.

Disliked: Kitchen was pretty shite, and had to walk across the street to some dodgy house were the wireless was. Had some crazy dog next door that barked every time somebody came home.

Liked: nothing actually

Disliked: first there is only one person at the reception and he does not speak english. i had to wait for 45 min only to check in. Then there was only one key at the reception for 20 people so every time i had to take the keys from the reception

Liked: Location and price

Disliked: The way they are organized! When we arrived it was full. Accept they gave a room that had no window and smelled thick of sigarets and was just single bed. Something that we havent booked for! I've booked for double room! Even so when we arrived we had to move from building to building to search for a room... In the end we had to search another Hostel.

Liked: Nothing much at all....one of the staff members was friendly and its close to town. But the town is so small that pretty much anywhere is close to town!

Disliked: We booked a 3 bed private room and got put in a crappy dorm room instead, it was so hot and no air con or fan. Was just dingy.

Liked: Friendly staff and it was ok that I arrived at midnight. Good for just stopping the night and moving on.

Disliked: Not very social if you are looking to meet others. There were no windows to the outside from the room I got but it wasn't particularly bad.

Liked: Everyone including staff were really friendly and helpful. Grat atmosphere right next to the bars. Also plenty of spaces to relax if you want (roof terrace)

Disliked: No oven. Other than that it was great!

Liked: Very close to the train station, and old town. Quiet after 10pm. Exactly what we paid for - it is cheap, and you should expect it to be so. Compared with other hostels, however, this was very secure with locks on all the doors. You have to ask the front desk to give you access to the building with the rooms.

Disliked: No windows in room. Credit card machine was sketchy (claimed it didnt process and wanted cash). No air conditioning - extremely stuffy at night, with only a little fan in the room. Bed sheets and towels provided were clean, but very old and ragged.

Liked: It is a good value for the money, almost in front of the bus station, it was perfect to me that just want a day in the beach before crossing to Spain... perhaps is very far away from the beach, you have to get a bus to get there but is was ok for what I need, besides a guest that woke the whole hostel during the night, it was fine...the staff was very helpfull!

Disliked: to be awake by a guest during the night, but I guess is not their fall.

Liked: It is really close to the city centre.

Disliked: The room is like a prison cell with no windows. But it is affordable and good enough for people who just want to travel late into the night and come back the hostel to sleep.

Disliked: it is dirty and noisy. not value for money. the rooms are without window. there are two bathrooms for 6 rooms. one was out of order, the other one was dirty. i would not recommend that hostel to anyone.

Liked: Clean accomodation and central location in Faro.

Disliked: Didn't feel very safe and secure as the door to the bedroom was very flimsy. One of the staff didn't have a clue about anything, so not very good if you want to rent a car or anything.
