Liked: It is a great house pretty much on the water. Its a bit of a walk to Ribeira d'Ilhas but close enough. The boards for rent were good and of different sizes/shapes. Miguel and Lucia even took us out to a great restaurant one night. We had a great time! If I'm ever back in Portugal, I will definitely stay at Blue Buddha again!

Liked: An amazing place for any traveling surfers. several world class reefs in walking distance. really nice environment to chill out and relax.

Liked: The Blue Buddha feels like a home away from home. Bright and clean hostel, a great location and wonderful staff...you cant ask for more!

Liked: Very cool place and SUPER cool staff, so friendly and helpful! I definetly wanna go back there. Needed lockers for valuables though - not that anything happened, would just have been nice, and more cleaning on the bathroom floors. But can definetly recommend the place :D

Liked: This place is very nice!! It isn't like an ordinary hostel... it is a beautiful house that looks directly at the ocean. The beach is minutes away and the bus station and grocery store are also extremely close!
