Liked: lovely and helpful staff, great location but a little dirty and freezing. i would not recommend staying here in winter.

Liked: We missed a bus and were stuck late in the day for accommodation. The hostel staff were great help after a difficult day! The hostel had everything we needed and we would recommend it.

Liked: The desk guy helped us make reservations for a fado concert, and he knew the guy at the venue, so we got a great table. He also told us where a close-by vegan restaurant is(delicious, by the way).The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are spacious and immaculate. charming building, free breakfast, free internet, nice common room, Beautiful city. try to bring a map of the city. finding the place off the square where the bus lets you out is a little difficult. it's BEHIND the mcdonalds, not to the left or right of it. Behind it, and to the left.Can't say enough good things about the hostel and the city.

Liked: For me, this was my favourite hostel that I stayed in this summer. A tall town house, with spilt level gardens across the front, this was easy to get to and a pleasure to stay in. This place felt like a good friend? home whom you could pop into to share a beer with good company. Clean, spacious, charming, wooden floors stretching across the house, a cosy lounge and great little kitchen. We met lovely people there and our room was the best yet! The double bed was unbelievably comfortable and made getting up in the morning a trial. Highly recommended...

Liked: Hostel recommandable, avec stationnement facile ( aout ), idéalement placé pour visiter et manger ( pas cher ), terrase agréable sous de grosse chaleur. Mais attention. Petit déjeuner décevant.

Liked: The old house that it's in is really nice, the dorms are big, bright and spacious. The breakfast is nothing flash but it's included. They rent amazing towels for 1 euro and let's face it we all love a good towel when we're on the road. Free but temperamental internet, cable TV, a book exchange..all good.

Liked: The house has a very good atmosphere. It is an old renovated building.The staff is very friendly and you meet peopel easily. There are relax areas and in the summer it's possible to barbecue.
