Liked: Was walking distance to everything. It was in a quiet area. Staff was friendly. Wi-fi connection was great!

Disliked: Just minor details...the holder for the shower head in our bathroom was broken. Also wanted to use the laundry but it wasn't working at the time. Our room was next to the kitchen so you could hear people when they were in there.

Liked: Nice little back yard with swimming pool, clean rooms, really good kitchen to cook your own meals.

Disliked: Beds were not so comfortably, but okay for a couple of nights.

Liked: The staff were really helpful. Great value. Nice backyard sitting area with small pool.

Disliked: Having to ring the bell at any time of day or night to be let in the front door by one of the staff

Liked: Located in a silent area close to the station (centre), free parking zone, nice backyard with a tiny swimming pool, nice kitchen, very fast internet connection (wifi as well). There is a tv set and a console if you are really bored.

Disliked: No breakfast (but a cool kitchen and close to pingu doce and mini precio).

Liked: Staff was super kind and very very helpful, I had the feeling like I would have visited some friends of mine! The rooms were clean, nice furniture, not old fashioned at all. Everything worked well in the kitchen. Had enough space for my food in the huge fridge. Very close to the city center or for the cycle/run path to Beach Guincho. I would recommend this to others as well. I enjoyed it a lot.

Disliked: Bathroom of our room made the room`s air a bit humid, but with open windows throughout the day it got much better.

Liked: This was an amazing place to stay, friendly staff, very clean and safe!

Disliked: The only problem i had with this hostel was that it had alot of rooms but only one bathroom with shower!

Liked: Nice hostel, clean, the pool is small but nice for a refreshment. Everything (beach, shops, restaurants, supermarket, train and bus station...) is in walking distance. I would recommend this hostel :)

Disliked: Could have more bathrooms + more facilities to sit.

Liked: It was quite central, about a 10 minute walk to town. We stayed in a 4 bed dorm, and it had a clean ensuite attached, with good shower pressure. There was also a cute garden and pool, but the water was cold. Internet was there, and the beds were comfy.

Disliked: You can not pay by card. Also there is a 24 hours reception, so you have to ring the door and wake the person sleeping on the couch to get in. Also there was no breakfast included.

Disliked: It doesn't feel like a great place to meet people, kinda cold feeling.

Liked: This is a Fantastic hostel. It's more like a hotel! Great value add facilities including washing machine and dryer, swimming pool, nice backyard, good kitchen, cable tv etc. The Decor and common room area are fantastic. Our room was very large also and the staff were friendly and spoke English. This is the best hostel I've stayed in.

Disliked: Can be quite noisy due to timber floors and paper thin walls. There was a very noisy family with kids staying while we were there who left all their doors open and treated the place like it was there own home. Luckily they were only there for 1 night during our stay. ITs always the luck of the draw getting courteous people staying in the hostel.

Liked: Was really good, I could enjoy the swimimg pool, the sun, the beach (wich was near the hostel), I prepared my dinner and my breakfast in their excellent kitchen, I used the internet, the WIFI, and the person who work in there was really sweet! The bathroom was really clean and everything was new! Really good!

Disliked: Nothing!!!!! Oh ok, was a little expensive tha the others hostels in Portugal!

Liked: very clean, and susana, the housekeeper was very nice.

Disliked: it wasn't a youth hostel, but more like a b'n'b, so there was a family with young baby that cried a lot during the day. also, you didn't get your own key but had to ring the bell when returning. it didn't bother susana, but made me feel guilty waking her at 3 AM.

Liked: The design of the hostel is very nice, also the garden and the swimmng pool look great. Modern equipment in teh kitchen, and mmodern bathrooms

Disliked: Firstly, breakfast is not included, which is not told in any way before you arrive (it's not mentionned in the description). Therefore, the bad surprise gets you in the morning, when you wake up. Also, for this price and NOT having breakfast included, it is far too expensive... Secondly, the people of the hostel live there as well, which has also been the case for oher hostels I have been in, but here they make guests feel tolerated in their space more than welcome in a hostel for everybody. The welcome and good bye were not especially warm, and half heartedly done. General atmosphere was so-so. The room (shared) in itself was good, nice and clean, but VERY noisy, as it is located between the kitchen and the garden (terrace). You get every noise of the kitchen in the morning, and every noise of the terrace and garden during the day/night, including occasional smoking in front of your window, if this happens to be open ... Not really to be recommended.

Disliked: Maison batie sur un nid de fourmis...on a retrouvé un des lits avec des centaines de fourmis. Le staff a directement résolu le probleme ;-)

Liked: Nice house converted into a hostel in Cascais residential area.The lady at the reception was fantastic, helpful and really customer focused.

Disliked: We stayed in the private ensuite of the Hostel, now this room does NOT have air conditioning so extremely hot during the day and also at night. I do not recommend to rent this room in JUN/JUL/AUG time because it's very difficult to sleep in that heat. Fridge too small for a full Hostel. The guy at the reception is not so much customer focused, not helpful , just having fun with a few Hostel mates that he enjoys to chat with.

Liked: Nice poolarea fo a hostel! The room was nice and if you travel in a group or want to stay in a dorm with others it was good. The kitchen was clean and location was good (5 min walk to restaurants and beach).

Disliked: We thought we booked a double room but it was a room with two bunkbeds so we had to share, which wasn't what we expected. The staff was quite ignorant.

Liked: everything one could need was available. loved the back garden, kitchen was modern and clean and fully stocked, beds were pristine and comfortable, fun decor, nice and helpful staff -- it was stellar!!

Disliked: internet wasn´t working, but that´s noone´s fault. didn´t like having to ring the doorbell throughout the day, but knowing my stuff was secure was a bonus.

Liked: As with any hostel, the mix of people in the place make a hell of a difference. For the first couple of nights, it was very quiet and so quite relaxing. On the weekend, six South African fellas on a golf trip descended on the place, which you'd normally think is a recipe for disaster. Happily, they turned out to be great fun, and an afternoon of beers by the pool with the rest of the hostel turned into an evening of karaoke in town and good times were had by all. The place is super clean, the staff are brilliant and the facilities are top notch. It's a couple of minutes walk to the centre of town... avoid the "international" pubs and restaurants in the square, instead hit-up a pasteleria or cafe in one of the backstreets. As with anywhere, go where the locals are eating... it'll be cheaper and tastier! Great hostel, would love to go back!

Disliked: The wi-fi was a bit temperamental upstairs... and that's about it.

Liked: Very clean and looked newly decorated (though the funky lime green in the colour-scheme might not be to every taste). Lack of breakfast was a down side as were the thin curtains unless you are an early riser.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.
