it was nice, but the location is very bad if you travel by car

Location - Right in the center of the town.

The hotel was huge and in a great location - surrounded by cinemas, restaurants and in the centre of town. The rooms are large and have a multilingual TV. The staff were fantastic - especially the one young woman at the front desk (wish we had gotten her name!). There is also a 24 hour reception, making it very secure. The hotel was a little old but is currently under renovation (one floor at a time so as not to affect your stay). Would reccommend it. The town itself doesn't offer too much (and cafes etc close at 5 or 6pm! so early!), but it's a safe place to base yourself, with a 5 Euro taxi ride to amazing Obidos.
