Liked: nice rooms, very clean, friendly and helpful staff always willing to help with advice on restaurants, surf spots and so on, common barbecues ....., nice location if you have a car

Disliked: unfavorable location without a car

Liked: Lots of facilites at the hostel like table tennis, pool, darts, trampoline, gym etc. Well decorated, fairly relaxed atmosphere, the beaches near are stunning.

Disliked: The staff weren't around much at all for help or advice and were quite unfriendly when there was interaction, weren't very professional at all and didn't even know that we were arriving! the back door remains unlocked all the time, very quiet hostel, a fair way from the beach (you need a car) and fairly uncomfy beds. It served well for our purposes but I have definitely stayed in better hostels.

Liked: Nice house to chill after a day at the beach

Disliked: Located too far from the beach, you need a car to get there. There is hardly any light in the rooms.

Liked: We liked the room, the swimming pool, the breakfast and the friendliness of the staff there. It was great!!

Disliked: It's almost impossible to get there if you don't have a car, because it's not walking distrance from the beach or the closer village. Apart from that, it was all great.

Liked: We stayed with three generations in a surfer hotel! We felt right at home. The hotel is in a relatively new housing development with a typically Portugese address - a challenge even for our TomTom. We finally found it. We loved it! The hostel is totally excellent! If you do not stay there, it is your loss... oh, and order the grilled fish for dinner!

Liked: The owners are really nice and will go out of their way to help you. The hostel is 5 mins drive from a really nice beach (Arrifana) which is the spot for surfing! The room are really clean and well equipped with everything you need. They also have extras including swimming pool, hot tub, and massages, surf school and hire from their surf shop in Aljezur. They also offer a very nice bbq dinner for 12 euros. We really enjoyed our stay, great value for money and recommended! ;)
