Customer reviewLovely building. Great bedrooms and the common room was very comfortable. Even has a piano ;) But I think it could do with another shower (there's only one for the whole building...unless you're a bath person, in which case you'll be fine). Good breakfast and very close to a small shop if you're not so keen on it! Only 5 mins from the bus station. The blonde lady on reception was very friendly, the other lady not so helpful or friendly. Good atmosphere overall though. |

BRETT LEES-SMITHIts a bit of a walk from the shops, bars and resturants of the resort and the start of the trails for the national park The hostel is massive and looks like a haunted house crossed with the house of the 7 dwarves so has a lot of character and is nice and cosy feeling. Facilities were good, it had wifi and a free computer, a lounge area, a smoking room and a place for watching tv, but the public areas were quite small and these would get a bit cramped if everyone tried to use them Toilets were clean and showerooms were clean and tidy though the water was not particularly warm. The included breakfast was good enough, bread jam cheese and tea / coffee and the kitchen was well equipped with several supermarkets within a 5 minute walk.. All in all it was a very nice stay and excellent value for money, so I am telling you about them for the sake of it, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and would hope to come back to Zakopane which is lovely!! |

Customer reviewIts a cute mountain house in Zakopane. Our room was nice and the beds were comfortable. I have a couple of suggestions for things that could be improved. Firstly, it didn't didn't seem to be that clean, especially the bathroom. Also the kitchen needed some more knives, I could only find one! Other than that though it was a very pleasant stay. |

Levente LukacsDirty bathroom. No showers, only bath and dirt. Nice bedclothes. Anyway, this hostel is not the first choice in Zakopane. |

Customer reviewI like the location of the hostel, it's in walking distance but still far enough from the centre to be a quiet place to stay. I didn't like the lack of some kitchen utensils like knifes and it's strange that they serve cereals as breakfast, but they do not provide milk. The biggest disadvantage was cleanliness, but this is normal, when the owner wants to save money, and no cleaning person is empolyed, but the recepctionist has to do all the cleaning stuff. Bathroom was ok, but in the wardrobes, where I wanted to put my things, there were scraps of bread and they were full of dust. The hostel needs a person which does general cleaning from time to time, and doesn't work as a receptionist in the same time. The second thing - we wanted to check out, and we had to wait for the receptionist which was sitting in smoking room, chatting with a friend and acting as we didn't exist, didn't stay in front of the reception with a key. The rest of the satff was helpful (we meet two bloneds which were really nice, gave us a lot of information, but this dark-haired wasn't nice at all). |

Anthony CooperI chose the location because it was AWAY from the main tourist street...I wanted a nice quiet place that was also within easy walking distance of the tourist street. The location was perfect for my needs. |

Chantal MueldersGreat people, great staff (most of the time). Quiet after hours and the kitchen was a big plus. A family place in an old style wooden house with amazing carvings. |
