Liked: This is central hostel situated well for the twon centre.Location on arrival to Zakopane was helpful as it is walking distancefrom the bus station. The breakfast room was cheeful and security did seem good. Generally basic though reasonable value for money.

Liked: Lovely house in a nice location, though a little out of town - which in the snow is a tricky walk! The staff were very nice and extremely helpful. Recommended!

Liked: The magical world of zakopane became all the more magical through the hilarity and brilliance provided at stara polana. Ayasha, armed with her smile and knowledge of all things great in zakopane, will provide you with all the information you will need. She is like a one person tourist office. She can party like no other too. Included in the price is a free laundry service (I needed help to lift my jaw when i heard this one) and a breakfast fit for champions (made all the more better by buying eggs in the shop right beside the hostel!) Indeed, there is a place in our hearts reserved for this hostel and this town and we will be back to enjoy these magical moments again and again.
