Liked: Spent 3 nights there and was stoked. Staff were extra friendly and the place was value for money. Handy to the main town centre and easy walk. Nice surprise to find that Easter bunny had left us a few eggs outside the door. if you want excellent facilities at a hard to beat price.... this will suit you to a T!!

Liked: Advantages:1) Nice location (5 min walks to the center)2)Neatly3)Pretty good for that money (it was much better than some 2-3 stars hotels I visited)4)Warm in the room (even on a realy cold winter days, you need just turn on radiator switcher to increase temperature)Disadvantages:1)Every time you enter to the hostel - you need to push bellbutton and wait, until somebody of the staff will open the door.2)Sometimes breakfast meal on the kitchen finished (for instance butter) and nothing appears for couple days.3)There is just one garbage basket in the room, after it become full, you can throw it out just in special separated type garbage containers (one for paper, another for glass, etc). After 5 days staying, I mixed all the garbage in one garbage basket and it was no ways to throw it out.

Liked: Its a beautiful building in the Zakopane style and feels a luxury to stay there. warm clean and generous in its hospitality, excellent breakfast and kitchen dining, comfortable and clean beds and bedclothes, great communal areas, computer access, smoking conservatory and TV room with settees, sometimes a little confusion about the anount to pay but perfectly honest and easily sorted out, best to pay in zlottes. We were there with a family and three others were also with families, we all loved it. so great for families and groups. No request or query was too much for the friendly staff. A five star thankyou to Stara Polona

Liked: Very helpfull English speaking staff, couldnt do enough for us and the staff on duty 24 hours a day 7 days a week. 5 min walk from main center local shop oppsite hostel, ive stayed in Zakopane many times before and will return to this hostel again. Very safe and good for familys

Liked: the on suite rooms where good because I'm getting a little old for sharing but i still like to meet people so it was great to be able to stay at a hostel which offers great value and the ability to make new friends and still have my own space when needed.plus the staff where fantastic nothing was too much trouble

Liked: The staff are really friendly and helpful. The kitchen is especially nice with breakfast provided. It is in walkable distance to the town and is nice and warm.

Liked: The building is awesome, all wooden and perfect for the area! Only downside was that it was freezing....its a big place and they haven't switched on the central heating yet. Otherwsie everything was great!
