Liked: I think the people were very pleasant, spoke English and were ready to help out. We liked the location as it is right next to Nosal a beautiful mountain. It's a bit far from the city centre which was perfect for us as we weren't that interested in the rush of city life. The city was packed and noisy so we were glad to have a nice fresh quiet stay in the middle of nature. The breakfast was great and the atmosphere homely.All in all a fantastic stay!!!

Liked: Cute place, a little cramped. A good value for staying in the city, and getting a little woodsy atmosphere thrown in. The staff was hit and miss. The girl who first checked us in was wonderful: helpful, friendly, attentive. The night staff as well as those the next day were a bit uninterested in being bothered.

Liked: This is one of the best hostels i have stayed at in 4 months. in fact i am still here because i extended my stay here!! It has a beautiful location, just out of town, and it is so so relaxing. the bathrooms are spotless, the staff so friendly, helpful and informative. the breky is great and free!! we really dont want to leave. thankyou lenin!!

Liked: Everyone was so friendly and relaxed. We stayed on an extra two days because it really is a lovely hostel and a beautiful area. It was quite far (walking) from the city center but that's partly what makes it so nice :)

Liked: I highly recommend everyone this lovely hostel. The best choice in Zakopane. Friendly staff. Free and really good breakfast. Tea and coffe all day. A bit far from the center but the bus stop is just 50 meters away and the cheap buses go frequently.Kedves Magyarok, a legjobb hely amit választhattok..Levente Lukács, Hungary

Liked: Very nice place, clean wooden brand-new room, but the best of it all is that rulers of Goodbye Lenin Zakopane are very kind people. Ask them about the tracks to follow at Tatra mountains and they´ll help you a lot planning, chosing the best routes and getting there. The hostel is at the begining of many tracks, but if you arrive to Zakopane at bus-train station, ask at the info point how to get there. Map needed, get it also at the info desk.

Liked: clean wooden chalet a bit away from the centre of town (30 mins walk or bus) but near hiking trails which is what you want in zakopane really! staff were great, breakfast was good.

Liked: excellent place, just 2 min walking to the tatra national park entrance. also veeeery funny staff, barbecues all the days and friendly people to have a good conversation, sharing beers and sheechah!

Liked: The location of the hostel is perfect because it's situated in the nature. I like to let you know that the place where we took breakfast was very small en that some days there was too much noice during the night.

Liked: all the friendly and helpful staff who know about zakopane very well and try to make the place always clean. cozy atmosphere and you just feel like you are home. and you dont have to see all those touristy things near the station but the mountain. lovely place!

Liked: The staff and other guests were really nice and everyone wanted to get to know everyone. The living room was nice and comfy and it was fun sitting there in the evening talking to the other travelers. The hostel was quite small so you could basically meet everyone who stayed there and the atmosphere was so welcoming. It was the cheepest hostel in my trip and also the best. Breakfast and sheets were included, free internet and you could drink as much tea or coffee as you liked. I recommend this hostel very much!

Liked: Although it's a little bit out of town, I found it extremely easy to get there using the instructions the hostel provided. Zakopane itself is overrun with tourists, but at Goodbye Lenin you can escape the crowds and really enjoy the tranquility of the Tatra Mountais. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Liked: This place is a little bit of a hike from the train and bus stations (you can catch a local bus or taxi) but it's worth it - the hostel is right near the entrance to the national park, which really is a much better place to stay than in town. Staff are really friendly and helpful, facilities are clean, and it's easy to feel at home here.

Liked: A lovely wooden hostel in an idyllic location, surrounded by trees. It's right on the edge of town, so a bit of a trek from the station, but worth the walk. And I arrived just before midnight to find my friends demolishing a bottle of vodka with the owner!

Liked: The staff at Goodbye Lenin, Zakopane were super friendly, knowledgeable about the area and had plently of suggestions for things to do. The location is great if you like to be out of the way...but quite a walk from the town (although there are a couple of small shops nearby if you need supplies!). It was very clean, comfortable and relaxing but could be crowded when full - this would make a great atmosphere though so don't let it put you off!! We recommend it!
