Good Bye Lenin Hostel, a century-old wooden house (recently renovated with modern facilities), located at the foot of the Tatra National Park and surrounded by a pine forest, aims to provide a complete experience of Zakopane and the Tatra mountain range for outdoor enthusiasts on a budget.

Cheap in-house rental of quality winter gear (skis, snowboards, boots, ski-pants and jackets), as well as ski and snowboarding tutors always eager to help you to start your winter sports adventure or to master your skills.

Convenient location (we are the closest-located hostel to all major ski resorts around Zakopane), combined with our very own cheap transport to the slopes organized daily – all to save you a lot of time, trouble and money.

Free pick-up from the bus or train station is available for groups of 3+ people or individuals with 3+ nights stay (prior arrangements required). There are also many cheap and frequent minibus connections to get to/from bus and train station or downtown Zakopane anytime.

Take advantage of staying in our 27-bed property where every guest is approached individually and with full attentiveness from the staff. Good Bye Lenin Hostel offers the following types of rooms

- One private double room (shared bathroom)
- One private twin room (en-suite) - expandable up to 4-people when equipped with extra beds)
- One private triple (can serve up to 7-people when equipped with extra beds)
- Two 8-people dorms (one en-suite and one with shared bathroom)

Our hostel can host up to 30 people (which allows us to approach each guest as an individual with our full attention). Bed sheets and linen are provided with no charge. All beds have security lockers.

The hostel is situated on a border of Zakopane, on the way to Cyhrla and Morskie Oko. We're 3 minutes’ walk from the nearest bus stop. The name of a bus stop is "Jaszczurowka" (Yash-cho-roof-ka)

There's a grocery and a stylish local restaurant and pub just 5 minutes’ walk from us. The nearest ski resort "Nosal" is about 10 minutes’ walk away, and the famous "Morskie Oko" is 30 minutes by bus.
