Liked: Very clean, considering it is a hostel. It is close to the old town and well connected to station, airports and other places through buses. There is washing machine and also iron. Very nice private bathroom.

Disliked: There is wi-fi, bue it does not reach all the floors (I was at the third); furthermore, it didn't work 3 out of 5 days I was there: very bad, beacause I had to queue for the public pcs. I didn't have electricity in my room for more than one day (I had light, but the plug.ins wouldn't work). There is no elevator, and the rooms above the street are very noisy.

Disliked: Doors were thin and it was loud in corridors, we slept with earplugs

Liked: Next to bus stop. The room has big balcony and newly renovated toilet.

Disliked: Walk up old bldg still under renovation. The beds and mattresses were basic and wore.

Liked: Clean and modern bathrooms. Nice sized room. Friendly staff.

Disliked: Breakfast wasn't great. Cereal and tea - no bread left.

Liked: Rooms were very nice and colourful! Everything was great, really nice people and very helpful! Location was great, close to city centre and bus stops.

Disliked: Had a room overlooking the busy road so you could hear the cars whizzing past, but it didn't stop me from having a good's night rest at all! :)

Liked: Pretty good location with easy stroll to old town, secure at night w/ 24 hour reception. Garden.

Disliked: On a REALLY noisy street, we found the rooms at the front are impossible to sleep in without earplugs and they couldn't/wouldn't change our room. They are aware that it's noisy and offer ear plugs at reception. Had we known before we wouldn't have booked. Should be stated somewhere! Also there was work going on in the hostel, renovation work so drilling etc, which we weren't informed about on booking. Reception staff not friendly, seemed a chore for them to be there.

Liked: Good situation, close to restaurants, clubs and monuments. Good public transport connections, The bathrooms were clean and you could use a common and complete kitchen. There were wifi and free computers to use, You could stay in the hostel before the check in and after the check out without problems.

Disliked: The baggage room was open for everybody and everyone could go inside without key or something like that.

Liked: It is a very centric place and for the cheap price it had all all facilities for a pleasant stay.

Disliked: We were lucky to have a private ensuite, which had a bath inside. Before coming to Tamka hostel, we had some doubts about it. Maybe it would be purposeful to show clearly in the description of trhe hotel, which rooms have bath inside.

Liked: Staffs are excellent! Free use of kitchen and washing machine!

Disliked: Hostel may be taking in too many older folks that may not suit the hostel environment. For example, our roommate (old lady) were expecting us to shower at 11pm and prepare to sleep so that we do not disturb her later. She does not allow the slightest sound like zipping our coats to be made despite us already trying hard to be silence. She even threw tantrum by banging the furnitures when we rejected to shower and sleep, we were not even chatting! But reading instead!!People like that just ruin our stay.

Liked: En-suite room perfectly clean. Staff were very helpful & spoke excellent English.Always ready to assist.

Disliked: Nothing. Though the graffitti on the exterior of the building gives one an initial feeling it could be shabby. But inside it is fine & clean.
