Disliked: one bathroom for 24 people, the matrass was broken

Liked: Good location and cool, old apartment.

Disliked: It was a bit dark and dingy and there are not enough toilets/showers to accommodate the guests when it is full.

Liked: The managers are cyclists and vegetarians, and keen on promoting environmentally friendly behaviour. Also there’s a big aquarium and several plants around. Wireless internet and pc's were available.

Disliked: They have this rule that they kick their guests out for the whole afternoon in order for them to clean, which can be a pain in the neck. Never found such a rule in any other hostel I’ve been to. Very few international guests were present at the time, and several locals were noisy. There even happened to be a conference held in the living room, making it embarrassing to cross it to reach the kitchen.

Liked: The hostel has a lot of character -- it feels like a well-loved old house. Cozy kitchen and living area, extremely clean bathrooms, wifi and they have a computer you can use. The beds are not the most comfortable, but everything is clean and well-cared for, and the staff is amazing and will help you with anything you need. It's kind of cool to have all the people affiliated with the organization fluttering about during the day. I didn't find it was the best place to meet other travelers, but I wasn't necessarily looking for that. I also found the location perfect due to proximity to the train station, though it's a little confusing to find the first time.

Liked: It was full of little kids, and wasn't the cleanest. Not a good place to socialise either, it felt a bit like staying with a family in their apartment but not talking to them.. Wasn't great. location was good though

Liked: The staff were SO helpful! Sat us down and showed us the map and what to do, where to go. And just really nice. The beds were very thin. The showers were fine. Location was great! So close to the train station and not far to walk to the old town at all. The only downside was the hostel has a lockout of 10am-5pm.
