Liked: The staff spoke very good english, and gave great maps to help out the newcomer to Warsaw and travelling out of the city. The bed was very comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was clean with t.p and good soap !! : )

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: It's really one of the best hostel I've never been. Great location,nicest staff you can wish,they clean common space and toilet so often that you'll never find something dirty. The toilet are shared but you really feel comfortable. I really suggest this hostel to everyone. We had a private twin room and it was si nice! 100% recomemded!

Liked: good located and clean place, friendly people and nice facilities

Disliked: Although I asked over 1 day before it hasn't been possible to make a reservation for a bottom bed. As I'm afraid of height I emailed this special wish and got the answer that they cannot influence it. But when I checked in, I saw that they give the beds to the visitors by number, so in my opinion there is a way. Although the staff seemed to try hard, it hasn't been possible for them to find a lower bed. If you are not afraid of height, the hostel is of course recommendable. I'm sorry that I've to look for another hostel next time.

Liked: Location is great, 10-15 minute walk from central and walking distance to all the sites and restaurants/bars. Really quiet hostel, perfect for chilling out.

Disliked: Building works next door and over the road made the dorms noisy on week day mornings. Hopefully they'll be finished soon!

Liked: Superb central location, quiet area. Facilities are as clean as possible (that depends very much on us, dear fellow backpackers...), nice bathroom with practical little hangers for the clothes. Homely design, a good pinch of humour here and there. Breakfast was more than such moderate price would suggest and include. The receptionist girl was awesome, fast, friendly and efficient, free map and guiding on your arrival, without asking! Try it!

Disliked: Strange that they should charge for the internet.

Liked: Peaceful quiet back street. Good neighborhood. Close to a lot of nice streets and transport. Strange mix of hostelers- lots of older people and not very social hostel, which was fine. There was a baby screaming for 2 nights when I stayed here which seemed inappropriate.

Disliked: I emailed with appropriate notice to change my date of arrival, and they would not change/cancel the booking and said I had to do it on my own, though hostelbookers did not have that option, it said to contact the property directly. This also happened with another girl in my room, so apparently they are not friendly about changing or cancelling reservations. This is the first hostel in 3 mos of traveling that made it difficult to change my reservation.

Liked: Nice Hostel. Free Breakfast. Good location. Friendly staff.

Disliked: Kind of a party hostel. It could be a little loud at times with people coming in late. A bottom flat sheet in provided for the guest to put on the bed but I think many guests do not use the bottom flat sheet. Just an observation for those who want a perfectly clean bed. Breakfast leftovers were haphazardly stored uncovered in clutterd community refridgerator..

Liked: Hostel Helvetia has an excellent location! 2 minutes walking and there are busses to every direction in Warsaw (Wilanow, Centrum, Airport). It is next to the Royal Route and 10/15 min walk from the Old Town so the best spot for do some sightseeing! The staff is very helpfull and like to talk with the guest. There are also activities in the evening, so you will never be bored! Showers are clean, beds are great (stayed in de 3p female dorm). I saw that somebody complains about the directions: In the weekends some buses are not allowed to get into Nowy Swiat so sometimes bus 175 doest not stop at University 02 on Saturday/Sunday! (Al thought last weekend they changed the schedule and it does, but nobody knows for how long).. So just ask the reception for help if you are arriving in the weekends! :)

Liked: Hostel Helvetia is one of (if not) the best place to stay in Warsaw. The staff is really helpful and friendly, everything is clean and organised. I had a great stay there, and would recommend it to everyone who seeks a good place for that money. I think it even competes with xStars hotels. Really. And of course not to mention the people, living there! Fantastic! Greetings from Hungary!

Liked: The staff were very friendly and it's located in a nice spot right by the University quite close to the Old Town attractions.

Disliked: Nothing. It was wonderful.

Liked: I liked that they had breakfast ready a little before the time they said it would start. The ambiance was good. I had a great nights sleep!

Disliked: The day I was there a power outage took place where some of the sockets didn't have electricity. But that was just that day, not sure what happened, but I was able to find another socket to charge my laptop :)

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff who offered suggestions for what to see and do, and places to eat.

Disliked: Slamming doors by other Traveller's and hostel staff. Communal showers with just shower curtain but no space to put on clothes was not ideal.
