Liked: The location is really central and from there you are quite quick everywhere. All the staff I met in the two days were really nice and helpful.

Disliked: The location is really central and especially on Friday and Saturday nights it can be very loud from the surrounding clubs and discos.

Liked: Clean and comfortable hostel placed to 1 minute of the Old Square. Totally recommended for travellers. Nice staff.

Liked: The Melody hostel is a cozy clean magical place right in the center of Poznan. For large groups, I recommend the 'Disco' room! You'll feel like you're in a technicolour orphanage and start singing songs from 'Annie'.

Liked: The hostel is new so there's not much of an atmosphere. It's pretty nice and cozy, though. The location is quite good, it's just in the corner of Stary Rynek but it's on the 3rd floor, the stairs are very steep and there's no elevator, so get ready to lift your stuff. The rooms are safe and secure with personal lockers in the shared rooms. Cleanliness is an issue (but only due to hostel guests with low hygiene standards, so blame them).All in all, you don't get enough for your money but if you're staying in Poznan and there's no other options it will be a good choice.

Liked: Melody Hostel was more like a hotel. I think it has only just opened as it is extremely new! It has a great breakfast, toast, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and also towels, big clean sheets and soap for free. I would definately recommend this hostel. Oh and the location was perfect, right near the square. And theres a cool restaurant called Sioux on the corner.
